I have a question, can you train the members of your squadron separately?

Is there any point beyond XP for the training? How do you train your squads?
You train Strength and it lowers Mental and Tactical.
You train Mental and it lowers Strength and Tactical.
You train Tactical and it lowers Strength and Mental.
After completing a set of 3. Your stats are basically neutral.
At this point I am beginning to think I should just use the no stat bonus option (bottom left) and just take the XP only.

If you read the status message, the specific limits on these attributes increase as the squadron levels up.Is there any point beyond XP for the training? How do you train your squads?

Furthermore as these attributes impact the success of missions it sure doesn't hurt to increase them as high as you can.
At first the limit is 200/200, as you get higher this will increase, thus you can train them better. I'm not sure if setting say Health and strength higher has an impact on stat increases as the character lvls up yet. Have to test that out at some point haha.
Anyway, my first recruit was a Miqoute female that had the message "I want to serve under someone that knows how to balance time and plays with me" I have to admit.. I had to blink twice for that sentence haha.
Well, the first two times, I got actual increases. Starting the third time, it began that pattern of just shifting the points around rather than adding any. Unfortunately, it doesn't take into consideration whether the recruits I'm training were even in the squad yet during those first two training sessions, so now my newer ones can't get any stat boosts. Is there any point beyond XP for the training? And still no clue as to how to reset it so I can get another chance at useful training.
You can do a Training and Mission at the same time. When 4 of your members are on a mission, the remaining 4 can train. They will gain experience and so forth.Well, the first two times, I got actual increases. Starting the third time, it began that pattern of just shifting the points around rather than adding any. Still trying to figure out if training means they will get a Stat boost to a particular stat each time they level up though.
Yes, they can get XP, but that's all they can get. Only the first four members (the ones I had back when I did the first two training sessions) were able to get any stat boosts. Now, even if those four are out on a mission, so its only my newer members doing training (the ones who did NOT get any stat boosts before because they hadn't been recruited yet at the time), the training no longer allows any stat boosts. They can do the XP-only training so they don't fall as far behind in levels compared to the ones out on a mission, but their stats are stuck at their brand-new untrained values. You can do a Training and Mission at the same time. I'd just like for my newer recruits to get the same benefits from training that were available to my first ones.

You're misunderstanding the training. The training is your whole squad's stats as a team, not a boost to individual stats.Well, the first two times, I got actual increases. Your stats are:
Individual squad stats added together + training (group) stats.
The purpose of training is to adjust your stats for a particular mission.
If you don't need to adjust your stats, you can do the balanced training, which doesn't adjust your stats and gives an extra 1000 exp.
Training your squad don't increase the unit's stats individually. It's a global bonus you get for your missions. Is there any point beyond XP for the training? How do you train your squads?

For example, my "Training stats" are currently like this: Strenght(60) Mental(60) Tactical(80). So, if go in the mission menu and remove every unit, the current stats I have are 60/60/80, even if nobody is selected for that mission.
So, if you want to do the Lv15 mission, which requires a lot of Mental, and you cannot reach that amount with your current units, just change your "Training stats" around to have more Mental.
Training stats are a way to compensate for a lack of one particular stats, or an overall lack of stats. Since you can train 3 times per day, you should train for the mission you want to complete.
My Training stats (60/60/80) are pretty much useless for me right now if I want to do some missions. At first, having balanced stats seemed a good idea, but I realized that there's no point. Training stats should always be allocated to be able to make up for a lack of stats regarding the requirements for the daily mission you'll aim for.
