My first was a boring catgirl in basic clothes :< Give me some nearly naked Roebros!
It could be pure RNG, but I wonder if their reasons are linked to which challenge log pops them? I got "I wish to serve under an officer whose hands can create as well as destroy." after completing a crafting challenge.

A mentor stole my house, slapped me across the face, and raised my ping from 15 to 30. Literally unplayable.

I wondered that, too. After completing a couple Gold Saucer challenges, I got a recruit who wanted a commander who could balance work and play. Then after completing "Crafting Up a Storm" I got a recruit who said she wanted a commander who could create as well as destroy. (Haven't gotten any wearing comic outfits, though.)
I wouldn't dismiss the originals right away (though I'm pretty sure you can), because you need a minimum of four members in order to do anything. Once you have more than four, you can start weeding out the ones you don't like as well without blocking your access to missions and training. The maximum you can have at any one time is eight. If you already have eight members in your squadron, and get another applicant, you'd have to dismiss one in order to accept the new recruit in their place.A Question, are we actually able to dismiss them again? I mean completly abandon them so they free they're spot so i can recruit others?
Im going to be very picky about my squadrons (even if it takes forever) so i would like to just kick the first three squadrons you get at the start.
Do I have to get the max amount of squadrons to kick others, or a minimum number of squadrons or can i just endlessly recruit them?xD

Can confirm. I got a recruit who could "create as well as destroy" from Crafting Up a Storm (HQ).I wondered that, too. Then after completing "Crafting Up a Storm" I got a recruit who said she wanted a commander who could create as well as destroy. (Haven't gotten any wearing comic outfits, though.)
And "balance work and play" from Gold Saucer.
I think each type of activity has a different pool of possible recruits.

If I understand the patch note right, if you have 8 members and a new recruit, you can kick a member to make the recruit a new memberA Question, are we actually able to dismiss them again? I mean completly abandon them so they free they're spot so i can recruit others?

Anyone?
Also the devs should add a mission report like in FF Tactics. I want to know what they did during the misson ^^

Everything was going as planned until _______ Opened a trapped chest!
Thankfully _____ Quick wits got us out of trouble, we continued to open the chest and what was inside....
