Got booted when attempting to teleport to Ishgard. Subsequent login attempts have failed so far (Error 90002 or 10105). Fix please.

Never fails, take a day off to play and this shit happens.... <sigh>

We appear to have a completely unwanted encore of yesterday's performance...
If you fix something please make sure it stays fixed long enough for people to forget it was ever broken. Fixing something for 1 day is hardly going to impress anyone.
Thanks for the links, everyone.
It might also be a balancing / stress thing, it's happened before. Anyway, here's hope they'll be able to fix this up quickly.
Could also be a matter of the sudden increase in the number of people logging in for Patch 3.4
The server might have gotten a shock when a sudden spike of people entered into the game after the update and crashed from the sudden unexpected load.
Primal Data Centre Emergency Maintenance

Followed later by All Worlds Maintenance

Hopefully these will fix the issues, though I have no idea when i will be able to finish my dailies...
Yep, that's what I meant by "stress", more or less. It would at least make some sense, given how populated some of the servers on the Datacentre are already. If it is a scaling problem, besides, they should be able to adjust resources so that there's a proper margin (maybe the bar was set just a tiny bit too low, or the flood of players was really that unexpected).
And... maintenance time, as you pointed out! Looks like your insight might hold true.

tl;dr -- Lots of 90k errors here and an occasional 10105. We fixed it 100% by limiting the graphics to 30 FPS.
Our setup -- My girlfriend and I play the game together on Ultros. I play on my PS4, she plays on my PC. We play side-by-side on the same network, both devices wireless. Like many of you, my computer is far and above the minimum specs for FF14. I have zero problems running any other game, including running Netflix or YouTube on my phone while playing two different games on the PC and PS4. Never had a hiccup in connection.
What we tried first -- We tried all the steps listed in this thread and others, given the problem seems to have been a thing going back over a year at various times on various worlds. This included:
- Lowering game resolution
- Port forwarding and triggering
- White-listing FF14 for Avast virus scanner
- Killing Avast completely during the game
- Killing firewalls and adjusting their settings
- DMZing the PC
- Trying (but not buying) Pingzapper
None of those worked. Then my girlfriend randomly went in the settings, noticed the frame rate cap, and just set it to 30 FPS. Didn't change anything else -- graphics quality, resolution (720p), or ANYTHING else -- and suddenly she had a perfectly stable connection. Night and day.
Obvious disclaimer -- Maybe this won't work for you. But I was absolutely out of ideas, and we seemed to get lucky. I have no idea why it should work -- my logic says that any graphics issues would be on my computer's end, and shouldn't impact data transfer rates -- but maybe someone more technically saavy can explain it. Either way, we're happy it works now: we went from lagging or random disconnects every few minutes to zero problems with one setting change.
I hope this helps!
830am EST... I wake up to play... Still DCing like mad.. I really suspect its when server (or maybe Primal) gets full... Its like it disconnects socket connections...
Swear its the final rush of Yokai last min people... after that game will work for awhile. Its ANNOYING. Never had this on XI.
You know, even if this thing would work for me i mean, I've spent around 2k Euro for a good PC and i pay them every fucking month to play the damn game...I cannot be forced to play at a lower resolution/fps because they can't repair their stuff. Is not how Europe works, but i bet Japan either -.-
