PC version won't update launcher for 3.4?! :(

My PC version boot menu will work, but every time i try putting in my username/password to log in, it keeps giving me a FFXIV Launcher Error... WHY?!!!
I'm not getting any Launcher update beforehand or anything to fix the problem. This has literally ruined my plan i had set up before maintenance in order to buy an apartment in the 1st Ward before all the spots are taken, and now i can't even log on even when it's been over 1 hour since 3.4 went live.
I'm really really disappointed right now. :l
I stayed up this entire time just to jump on as soon as it releases, and i can't even do that now.
Not only that, this is holding me back on 3.4 progression.
Anyone else having the same problem???

My launcher won't update since the patch either. I run the ffxivboot.exe and it downloads a 18.22mb patch, then throws up this message:

Unable to update patch files.

having something of a similar issue -_- can't figure out what else to do. Hope SE gets this sorted cause its happening across both PC and PS4 platforms

keep getting 30410 30607 20457 410 errors. Had no problems with game updating before this new patch. Tried to reinstall the game says can't 2 files then closes the client. Even tried two back up copies and same problems get 30410 30607 20457 410 errors. changed it from 0 to 1 didn't work still same 4 error codes. last week hardly could play because of 90002 errors ever 10 minutes now this. I just hope that one day can play game without getting a error every time go to play it.

VPN was easy to install, and as soon as I had a connection, I effortlessly updated the game/launcher and got the patch.

bah, after 3 weeks of the previous crap downloads missing to finally get to play for a week or two back to this.... same issue, unable to perform version check.

I tried that, but there is no ""VPN Gate Public VPN Relay Servers" button, so I can't continue.
