Aquapolis Nerfed?

I'm in a Aquapolis LS and we just did 20 maps and got 2 portals, and only to door 3 ... is anyone else having issues? We were so disgusted, we ended up breaking up the party... I hope this is a fluke....

I've had days where we have 8 maps and it takes 3 hours because every single one goes so far and days with 10 maps and we're done in 15 minutes because they seem to all fail in a row

today did a bunch, roughly 50% were portals, but they were all failures at the 2nd door.

the animations for the door effects changes, and the way loot works changed as well.

I feel like my friends and I have been having unusually high failure rates today as well. Maybe it's the same as before the patch and we're just on a bad run, but out of the eight maps we've done only one has gone past room 1.

Did about 10 maps yesterday and I feel loot rewards have been nerfed.

Out of 3-4 runs through Aqua, there was about two times we were able to roll on loot. Crazy low rollable loot. Maybe RNG hates me, but after doing like hundreds before, the loots were pretty bad this time. The first three rooms seemed to only award regular drops. On a positive, materia drops seem way better. Several V level dropped.

Also, after seeing minions and other loot going to POTD this morning on Reddit, very disappointed in the direction. Seems they moved some of the minion drops over POTD. Not surprised, but disappointed. Hate POTD, lol. I guess I will do more POTD

I have not made it past room 4 yet, so maybe the minions and better rollable loot reside deeper in Aqua.

Aquapolis is the mathematical perfection of RNG. It's literally a 50/50 chance in every occasion.

What it sounds like you're frustrated from is what's called Gambler's Fallacy. Read about it here; don't fall into that trap.

I understand this, but the odds of rollable loot was happening for every room. That is 100% possibility. This is not happening right now. RNG is definitely part of Aqua and I love it. Just surprised that rollable loot has changed.

I will be happy to fall in that trap though. I love Aqua <3
