Wardrobe Question

Do the cute wardrobes work the same way as an armoire? Can I store the seasonal stuff and other things I keep in my armoire in one of these or do I have to purchase an extremely expensive armoire or make my own?

The armoire is the only item that functions as itself. Everything else is just for decoration.

If you don't like the look of it, try to stick it under one of the other wardrobes and see if you can still interact with it.

Yeah, I just checked. I put a company chest slap against the wall and smushed a glade wardrobe over the top of it. The chest is wider so there is a bit of a gap as the wardrobe has to stand out from the wall a bit, but it was easily hidden.
Could still interact with the chest normally by clicking through the wardrobe. I don't see any reason why the armoire wouldn't be the same.
