Barely touched half of it, saving the Scholasticate and Hildebrand quests for when the inevitable content drought happens during the wait for the new expansion, made it up to Xelphatol story-wise and helped a few friends out with the new dungeons, me and my friend just finished our trek through The Creator and are raring to give Sophia a lash. We also are planning to do some more Palace of the Dead.
Many of us are returning players, so we have a few things to catch up on, I do love playing the game, just wish there was more mid-core content (though The Creator was a great step in the right direction, A12 was fierce for a normal mode raid)
I did MSQ up until the new dungeon to unlock roulette, did new primal, finished Alexander, purchased and furnished apartment and crafted several new recipes. Made my squad and have 6 recruits. Didn't touch side quests, didn't finish MSQ.
I did put a dent in the challenge log and wondrous tales.
But for the people who say that the patch doesn't have enough content. Those people will never be satisfied. They could of had 3 dungeons and they still would be complaining
i expect that when they implement new content in a new patch that they don't scale the content for an ilvl wich we had 4 patches ago.
this is also one of the reasons the patches are feeling so small: we just steamroll through all the story content because it is not only easy, it is also scaled for an increadibly low item lvl.

It seemed smaller to me but at the same time fulfilling? All the content seemed to go at a decent pace, instanced content anyway.
It wasn't like that blunder of a patch 3.1 which was over with within an hour, this one in particular was again, paced well I think, doesn't drag on but it's not "Oh, that's it?"
Only complaint really is Sophia normal being downed really easily. Guess they're being true to the original one from Final Fantasy VI I guess.
Guess this need to be dawned on people regarding dungeons. They aren't designed for you. By you I mean the person who has relic in hand ilvl 238 savage gear or what have you. The minimum ilvl for entry into these dungeons is like 210 meaning they are balanced around people being 210. They weren't supposed to challenge you they are meant to help newer players along the way to the current end game. it was the same in 2.0 as well.
You want these dungeons to be harder? Go put on some void ark gear and have at it.
Small or not, I am not quite sure. It is, however, rather disappointing so far. I've yet to do everything, but I have at least done/stepped into: MSQ, Sophia NM, Sophia EX, A9N, Wondrous Tails, and both new dungeons. Nothing has really been that good - there were a couple of points in the MSQ that were decent (Gu Ba), but overall meh. I reserve total judgement til I try it all (I hear A11 and A12 are good), but as it is, this patch is rating pretty low for me.
You are right, the dev team intelligently designed this content around an ilvl of 210, following a patch where they were handing out 240 gear to everyone in a catch up patch.Guess this need to be dawned on people regarding dungeons. Yoshi: The adjustments to the 2 new dungeons are already complete (note: this interview took place before TGS). Since the item levels are being refreshed, it may feel harder than the 3.3 dungeons at first. With the 3.3 dungeons, they were released when the item levels of players were already high, so it felt easier from the get go, but this time you'll be challenging it with a low item level and of course you'll be able to clear it, but we made it so you start to get what's going on as you go, and the clear times become faster and faster as your item level goes up. Please take careful steps on your first visit and go full-out.
Q. Is it risky to pull them all at the beginning?
A. I think it'll be dangerous (laughs) I'd prefer tanks to advance carefully.

why can't new people do the older dungeons from the patches before? why do new people need new dungeons to gear up? all the old content is new for them anyway.Guess this need to be dawned on people regarding dungeons. compared to the dungeons i found alex Nm to be quite challenging though. I def not wanna do this with DF anytime soon. the damage the group takes in 11 and 12 is really high for now and lazy healers or slow movers will likely result in unneccessary wipes.
