    I'm disappointed with the new dungeons.
    Not because they're boring or anything - the boss and fight mechancis are all top notch, and the environments are all gorgeous but .....

    ... they're too easy.
    I don't raid, I don't have raider gear - I went into 3.4 at i239 with relic in hand, expecting to have to work really hard to complete the new dungeons.
    I was shocked how easy it went.
    Xelphatol - all four of us firsttimers, we finished in under 20 minutes with no deaths and hiccups anywhere along the way.
    Gubal Hard - 3 of us new, same completion time with only the second boss being a speedbump in figuring it out.

    Call me crazy, and I know dungeons aren't supposed to be very tough but ... if I can get those kind of effectively speedruns in previous patch gear, on DF, in a major gear update patch there -has- to be something screwy with the difficulty.

    I know how you feel. It just blows my mind how they waste these amazingly designed assets and insanely gorgeous effects on such a dull gameplay. These dungeons really should have something akin to wow's mythic versions. Its just a complete snoozefest even if you pull everything lol there is 0 chalenge...

    Guess this need to be dawned on people regarding dungeons. They aren't designed for you. By you I mean the person who has relic in hand ilvl 238 savage gear or what have you. The minimum ilvl for entry into these dungeons is like 210 meaning they are balanced around people being 210. They weren't supposed to challenge you they are meant to help newer players along the way to the current end game. it was the same in 2.0 as well.

    You want these dungeons to be harder? Go put on some void ark gear and have at it.

    why can't new people do the older dungeons from the patches before? why do new people need new dungeons to gear up? all the old content is new for them anyway.

    The point is to help them catch up they do dungeons till they get the enough gear to raise their ilv to do the next dungeons, while those who were there day one of the patch and played everyday had the tombstone gear to dramatically raise their ilvls. look back when neverreap was current it drops what 170 gear but you also got esos from it so at the end of each week you were walking about with ilvl 200 gear. Next dungeon that came out had a requirement of ilvl 175 and gave either 185 or 195 gear I don't remember. Not sure why any of you are expecting a dungeon that you out pace by a good 30-40 ilvls is supposed to be hard for you if it was it'd be impossible for people who aren't decked out in the best gear.

    you are 29 levels above the minimum item level and 14 above the gear you can get from the dungeons... and you expected them to be harder?

    i expect that when they implement new content in a new patch that they don't scale the content for an ilvl wich we had 4 patches ago.

    this is also one of the reasons the patches are feeling so small: we just steamroll through all the story content because it is not only easy, it is also scaled for an increadibly low item lvl.
