Issue with the new apartments

Well..um, when my FC and I bought this house for 100M+ back when they first came out we did not intend to have this be right near our house >.<

None of my FC Likes how it looks..and they want to move lol, posting on behalf of them..but I doubt anything will change...it used to look so nice here T_T



I can say for sure if this is how it was back then we would not have paid that much for this property :x I know I know..lucky to have a house (Yea well we farmed MORNING till NIGHT for 3 months STRAIGHT daily so don't give me that)

Could it be scaled down or option to hide it even? >.< We are not the only FC/people who feels this way...at least the one's I have spoke with. It looks like a giant factory is right near our house lol.

Every other city it blends in nicely it seems like but this one is just..bleh...

Welcome to the ugly side of land development. Now you know how people feel when companies bulldoze trees or tear down beautiful old buildings to put in ugly mini-malls or condos. :/

I agree that the LBs buidling is the least attractive of the three (someone once said it looks like a prison and I agree) but you are right, I can never see SE changing it now that it is in.

My FC has the large to the right of the apartments in Mist. Haven't heard any complaints yet. You are right, ours blends into the mountainside very well and there were already those structures on the sides of the hills. The apartments just look like a larger version of them.

Maybe they can tweak it a bit to look more like a giant tree house/forest type thing? It's not moving ever and I very much doubt they're going to assign a graphical option for a handful of houses to hide it. At best you could make some suggestions to beautify it and hope they take that into consideration.

Honestly, the one in the Mist doesn't look much better at night. I think the problem is the amount of "window lighting".. it's just overdone in comparison to the structures around it (even in the Mist), to the point of looking fairly fake since usually at least some windows would be dark.

Meanwhile, the roof of my house *still* doesn't have lights. >.< Maybe the apartment complex stole them.

My fc has their mansion right next to this in the lavender beds. I told yhem beforehand "there goes the neighbourhood. We are now in the projects"
