    Ok found a solution
    Close launcher
    go to C:\username\Documents\mygames\final fantasy\
    There is a folder called "FFXIV_BOOT"
    Open it with an editor
    change "BootVersionCheckMode" from 0 to 1
    save it
    Restart launcher

    Works for me
