    You know, this was happening back in Febuary too and people still get this during the patches. What annoys me most is that no one answers our questions. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AND WHY WON'T YOU FIX IT SE?

    Note: actually there was one guy who answered but just told everyone to delete the game or rebuild the PS4s database or reformat the hard drive. Thank you Elrisivana, but I remember doing those things and nothing happened until some freak luck when I tried another day.

    Explain how this is happening please?

    Same problem here, PS4. Multiple restarts of application, and console. Nothing. Always the same error message

    What really gets me mad is that they haven't even said anything to us about it. It's like to bad for you and the money you speand to play. We will just lock you out for 24hr then not care that you can't even download the patch.

    You already payed for the Subscription, they don't care what you do now if you think of it that way, but honestly I'm still trying different things. I do lag on this game but its still playable and even run trials with others, so I'm gonna try using my Lan cable this time, after this I have better things to attend to. F***in' ridiculous SE.

    THIS WORKS FOR THE PC VERSION! I can confirm that this option works!

    Go to: my documents\my games\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn

    Edit the file: FFXIV_BOOT.cfg (Open it up with Notepad)

    Edit the line: BootVersionCheckMode from 0 to 1

    Then relaunch your FFXIV Boot/Launcher and it'll start updating!!! YAY!

    I haven't and I'm about to just give up on this it is BS that they haven't even said anything to us about it. Still waiting as all my friends do all the new stuff as i wait.

    I've had this issue 2 times as new patches came out, all i did was wait and reboot the client a few times and everything continued as it should, i just assumed it was server traffic since it was like 1 hour after servers came online.

    Other than that, i suggest everyone still having this issue posts their connection/isp details and such, at least then they could rule stuff out.
