What happend to Queen's hairstyle?

I don't see anything wrong with a hairstyle being a bit difficult to obtain. I did farm for my pegasus mount non stop back in the day, and it felt very good when I got it. Id I liked this hairstyle, I'd also go for it.
Besides, we got three other ones in this patch, so it's not like we can complain about lack of hairstyles.

Only one of them is long one, why not lock short one behind RNG then?

And since when has RNG been "difficult"? It's only frustrating. Some people will get it from their first bag, while I'll probably end up grinding that boring place for next 17 years to get it.

Yeah, but here's the thing; with pegasus you got spoils that you could turn in enough of to get the pegasus whistle. This hairstyle? There is no token system for it, no craft, no quest, no nothing other than rng. This is the type of crap I'd expect from a Korean MMO, but not for a hairstyle in a sub-based mmorpg. Heck, even the primal weapons have a token system if rng goes "nyah" at you.

Remember as people were complaining about others leaving the run right before the boss etc. First they added a overall reward to it, thinking people would jump for that 100% +1/+1 but since not everybody cared about that, they needed a new idea. Let's add glamour to the palace, we all know that this is real endgame and will decrease the chance of people leaving since you can't get the treasure without finishing the 10 floors I don't mind it, makes it a bit more entertaining.

Sounds nice, but in practice people are just going to be running the first 10 floors over and over.

With a week to do it people are still going to leave, or in my case be assholes who disband the ENTIRE party, wasting my 30-40mins of game time because they aren't happy with their RNG. -_-

...Ok that looks... Ick. I was thinking about getting this but nevermind, that highlight pattern looks nasty. XD

Well, the highlights are exaggerated in that image by having them white against black. But if the same pattern were done with two very similar colors just slightly tone shifted from each other, it would likely just give a textural effect of depth and look a lot nicer (if you're hoping for a more realistic look).

I'd probably go for a highlight color that's just a slightly darker shade of the base color. That'd look like the underneath layers of hair showing through.

I see a huge problem with it. You see, I'm SEVERELY burned out with PotD.

Had they added this as the reward ALONGSIDE the new floors, then sure. I'd be happy to continue grinding. The thing is, it's the exact same goddamn content. The same thing I had to grind out to get three new weapons. The same thing I spent days and days burning through to level some of my alt jobs, and to get extra potshards for the items they had for sale. I'm TIRED of PotD. And now, it has the one hairstyle I've wanted for the longest time. So yeah, I'm pissed. I'll grind it, I'll pray to RNGesus, I fail at the lottery for weeks on end before I somehow manage to get it. And I'll hate it the whole way through, because I'm a masochist like that.

This type of thing isn't fun. It's not hard. It's just bashing your head against a wall until it crumbles.
