About the Apartments...

Dont have any V Materia to sell, probably because I am more concerned with playing the game, then treating it like a second job, if you want my honest answer. Ive seen what it takes to make stuff in the game, cannot say that doing any of it is all that appealing.

It takes like an hour per week to obtain a V.

You just don't want to put any effort into the game.

Next you will say you are entitled to raid gear without raiding.

As for apartment availability, 512*24*3=36,864 potential rooms per server, no server has 36,000 active players, not even Balmung. You're from cactuar, your server has less than 5k active players, your server will never fill up even with the current 90 apartments per building.

Apartment this, Apartments that... Can't you guys give us break ( to be polite ) ? At least wait until the patch is several hours old to start whining pointlessly about every little aspects of them...
Geez, why is everyone so obsessed with housing ?

There will definitely be enough apartments for everyone that has earned the money to spend on them.

Keep in mind that not everyone is even going to get an apartment.
I'm not. I don't even have private quarters in my FC house.
The reason is simple: I don't need one.

If I were to get an apartment I would also make / buy furniture and whatnot for it. Which would make the total cost more than 500k.
Plus, I would do gardening, which means getting soils and seeds.
+ the time to do these things and time = money.

So owning an apartment for me would just be a huge gil / time sink, with little benefit other than solitude.

Someday, after I've gotten all my characters to 60 and have nothing to do except achievements, I might get a house.
But it just isn't worth it for me right now and probably won't be for a whie.

I think this is something a lot of people haven't considered. They just want an apartment because they CAN get one.

Think about it. Is an apartment really worth it for you? Do the benefits of buying / furnishing one outweigh the costs?

500,000 is like pocket change in this game, what on earth could you be spending your gil on to not have that much? After roulettes everyday and selling retainer junk on markets you should easily have it. Especially if your retainer brings you a lovely item worth 200k+. Besides, if you can't afford to buy the room then you certainly cannot afford to furnish it either so why the commotion?

They said they can immediately add more apartments as the need arises too, no need to panic about availability.

I don't care if you feel left out....git gud... I have 3 houses spread out among all my characters and I'm gonna buy an apartment for each of them anyways even though i only play one.

Yeah, I hit a million gil within a month of playing this game. I know the economy varies between servers but if you craft or gather at all you can make 500k in no time. Or look for the monster drops that sell well in your market.
