I am very much in favor of this. The thing is, a person waving around an ifrit weapon to show off does not in any way shape or form display that that person is a great player. It only signifies that the player was in a party of people who beat the obstacle and was lucky enough to get the drop. One player can do absolutely nothing in a full man party and still get the drop. Having a challenging soloable dungeon for a nice show off piece, whatever it may be, would definitely be a display of how well the player is as an overall adventurer.

i liked some replies of ppl in here... we dont want that this was ok in Aion or Rift .. or this game is turning to ffxi
Producers wont copy paste anything,They'll add alot of fun ideas and content based on their experiance, We're not saying that we want END GAME solo dungeon or all FFXIV be solo, as someone mentioned 1~4 is good for the starter , or at least 2 ppl is good enough do some challenges
Real Life > FFXIV

A few solo instances that are part of story of a past event with a few cs inside here & there like they did aion sounds good. Was really fun in that game & the loot from last boss was good, and of course there was a party sized version that took place in present with even better loot. So if they were to do this, it should be somewhat like that imo. I'd be all for it if that's how it worked. People that are against more content that's actually fun just because another game has it are hilarious.

I wont stay silence until I hear something from GM...,
Real Life > FFXIV
Ill say it again, go play Vindicuts if you wanna do stuff like that.

Sounds like a good idea. ....but wow, you mention an idea for one solo dungeon and you get all of these insta-rude responses telling you how they prefer to play with other players when it's painfully obvious they have no damn social skills to play online with anyone else.

Aion has solo dungeons. They all have one thing in common: they're incredibly boring. I find soloing in general to be boring, but the solo dungeons I've played have been a step below simply boring. I'd much rather they spend the development resources on party content.
Agree completely.
If they did put solo dungeon in, it would have to be boring in order to allow for all DoW/M to complete it. Otherwise rant "I can't beat this on my XXX" will emerge followed by "you can too you're noob" followed by "Rep: We are looking into having this instance adjusted" followed by "the dungeon is now boring"
^ This is what I foresee ~_~
inb4 "they can make a seperate instance for each class!"
inb4 "keep the same instance just adjust it depending on which class you are playing as!"

Anything to do in the meantime while in between patches sounds good to me. I don't get why one little dungeon would automatically make this game SOLO oriented. It's one dungeon, let these people have their fun too. Yes I'm against solo playing in an MMO, and NO it wouldn't really effect my PARTY experience in other dungeons
