    AST Draw Cooldown Macro?

Right now, because I'm on the ps3, and I have to have the chotbar enabled so I can fit all my skills in a way that's easier to get to in a pinch, I have my Draw, Royal Road, Spread, and Redraw in the chotbar. However, because of that, I don't know exactly when Draw is available again. Can someone make a macro that gives me a notification when it's ready? I do understand that things like Redraw wouldn't have the same cooldown time for it, but I'd still be on the chotbar at that time. I appreciate any help anyone can give me.

Create a horizontal or vertical hot bar and place all the actions on it that you want to keep an eye on. This way you can see all your timers for when an action is ready.

Yes you can have them still on the PS3 just like you can have the cross hotbar on the PC. You dont need to select them with the controller they are just visual aids to watch your timers. I know quite a few people do this and I also did it when I played on PS3.

If you dont liike the Hotbar method suggested above heres some macros you could try.

    /ac "Draw" <me>
    /wait 30
    /recast "Draw"

This macro will put a message in your chatbox telling you that Draw has 0 seconds left until it can be cast again. Only you will see the message.

    /ac "Draw" <me>
    /wait 25
    /echo 5 seconds until Draw
    /wait 5
    /recast "Draw"

This one is the same as above except it gives you a message only you can see that tells you you have 5 seconds until its up again.

These are the best macros i can think of to let you know when Draw is available again. if your concerned about the other timers you can just add them in as well. like so.

    /ac "Draw" <me>
    /wait 30
    /recast "Draw"
    /recast "Redraw"

This one will tell you when Draw is ready, and tell you how long Redraw has left on cooldown.

I hope this has helped and answered your question.

If you hit your macro, then it'll start the countdown... but the actual cooldown of Draw only starts when you have no more card in hand (so, via canceling the card (right click it), using Spread, Royal Road, or simply using Draw again).

In short terms, if you hold a card for 10 seconds, your macro will end 10 seconds sooner.

Trust me, trying to macroing that is a real mess. You actually have to macro every single skill related to cards... and even then, you'll still have funky results.
Having a big icon in the middle of your screen is, unfortunatly, the best way to do it.

Unrelated to the cards, but that macro that lets you know when a skill is ready to use will help me so much when trying to remember Carve & Spit, lmao. Thanks a lot Elspeth!

What Fyce said makes sense though, I would only use that on single-use skills.

Ah, i did forget about that. Your right, the macro doesnt work perfectly, its probably the best you can do though, and i guess itll let you know when its nearly ready instead lol.

You can now (patch 3.4) enable W cross hotbar for more visibility and slots
