Wonderous Tails -- Do a search on the page for ornate and you will see ornate versions of the crafted battle gear also. I'm 99.99% positive its the super rare gear you get from wonderous tales stuff

A couple of things:

A guess on ornate gear.
Seeing as how both "Ironworks apron of crafting" and "Ornate Ironworks Apron of Crafting" are both 190, my guess is that we will NOT be making any new crafting gear this time around.
My guess is that the "ornate" gear will be gauranteed 5-slot materia gear awarded through the Wonderous Tails quests.

The patch notes say that "New items have been added for exchange at the Scrip vendor in Idyllshire". (or something like it).
I would not be at all surprised if they released Master Crafting V books........

EDIT: Erased the part about thaumature and conjurer weapons because it's already been noticed.

EDIT: Nevermind, I guess Valkyrie set is the new dungeon gear and the Sunstreak set is the new Diadem gear. Shame the Valkyrie set are just recolors of older sets.

Of course it isn't. As a non-raider I would find that stupid. At the very least get some accesories from the capped tomestone.

Where did new masterbooks come from? I haven't seen anything about new masterbooks and it's difficult to confirm something that has no reference made to it.

New items are available from the scrip exchange NPC in Idyllshire (X:5.7 Y:7.0).

Techinically, master books are items in that shop. But patch 3.2 listed them all in items list and I don't see it there.

I suspect they'll be new Folklore Books for gathering too.
