I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to find search terms that are specific enough.

I was level synced during a fate and shortly before it ended I leveled up. I noticed afterward that I did not get XP or seals for fate completion, and it seems from the log that leveling up popped me out of level sync. Is that expected? And yes the fate completed successfully.
