The only reason any of this could come back to haunt someone is if that person is continuing to act as has been posted in the PSA, people go searching for any possible history, find the history, and convene with the others that have been wronged. All in all, if the person has a history of constantly causing problems without seeking to own up to it, I'd say it warrants warning other people to avoid a problem.

Yes, they can say "I admit I did that." But that does absolutely nothing if the person doesn't change. If I punched someone in the face and owned up to it, then punched them again, no progress is ever really made and people should probably stop me, or at least warn others.

P.S. None of this is harassment unless they're posting it and actively threatening her.

P.P.S. Now, threatening to call the cops on someone.. That CAN classify as harassment.

The entire point is that it is being posted -- as seen in an earlier post. And the OP is being given constant in-game whispers, people are going into any FC / LS she joins to harass her and everyone in it. Unacceptable. I provide a safe have for people from witch hunts. No one should have to endure this.

Truthfully, I'm the same as you and prefer to get to know someone. You're welcome to get to know them all you want, of course, but coming in and trying to defend them while claiming some form of unbiased nature is not the way to do it when you are very clearly biased in the matter at hand. As you mentioned before, it doesn't make you or the people you represent look very good. As I mentioned before, someone can own up to something all they want, but if they continue to act as they always have and show no signs of getting better, then maybe they aren't. Their reputation is going to constantly follow them around until they prove people wrong, and crying/telling half-truths on a forum isn't going to be the way to do that.

You sure we looked at the same link? Because my attempt at an "earnest conversation" with her led to some weird hate speech about feminism/women, being called "snarky" for not taking her abuse and false ERP accusations lying down, and then being blocked and kicked from her linkshell and Discord a moment before my friend, who had done nothing, was then also kicked simply for associating with me, only for her to have her friend share my RL photo and for her to threaten to call the police on me if I continued telling the truth, and then to continue to misrepresent the situation to everyone she meets and play the victim. That is what an attempt at "earnest conversation" with her got me.

Posting proof of someone's wrong doing isn't harassment. As a self-proclaimed scholar, that is something you should know. There's nothing wrong with warning others of people's crappy behavior. I honestly have no idea who may be going into FC/LSs and causing problems. I'm more inclined to be one to speak my mind and move on, but as I mentioned earlier. Best she can do is ignore it and prove people wrong through actions. It won't go away otherwise and there's no one to blame but herself.

I'm glad I've met someone who also likes to get to know people before judging them. Though if I don't know someone, I can can neither hate nor like them (or whatever that may bring). You may say it is an error in articulation, and I would respect your opinion on that. Though how can anyone know if someone is improving if they do not give them a chance? If they get a dozen whispers a day, go places and get called names? If people follow them just to get them kicked or ruin what they are trying to do? I'd be jaded, personally. I once had someone steal from me 100,000,000 gold from Ultima Online, back in the day when it was still a lot. Nothing to lose a friendship over. Was still nice to them. Eventually, they paid it back and apologized for being a jerk.

We need to be the change we preach. Everything has gotten out of hand, as I'm sure you'll agree.
