One thing that has long bothered me is that the action bar is direct-equip - you equip an action and it shows up on the bar.

Given the way things are changing, I would like to be able to equip anything you're currently able to use to the bar. Including macros. Similarly, even if you might be able to use something in a macro (because you learned it via your class, and can't unequip the action), it shouldn't have to be on your bar (as suggested in http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/30546-What-if-I-don-t-WANT-skills-on-my-bar )
