"There are no characters available for a World Transfer." Help!!!

If you buy a gamecard and apply it to your account it'll add those 30 days straight away. I'm not entirely sure if it'll work for what you want though as technically you're still in the 30 free days, but gamecards are basically the only way to force time on in advance since you've already paid for it.

The free trial can be converted to a regular account anytime after the first day. When you buy the game you get 30 days paid for before any additional subscription kicks in. This cannot be accelerated but there is no reason to accelerate it.

I can't quite figure out the problem though - free trial, 30 days after buying the game or regular subscription makes no difference to creating a new character on the server you want to be on - it may take an hour or two to get back to your current level.

I want to be on Balmung. Balmung is locked and only takes players via transfers, I've looked around into that. I don't want 30 free days of being alone, I want to be with the person I got the game for, if you get me. I just want to actually play the game with someone, and the server they're on even if I wait for some tiny obscure window I -can't- get there because its overfull and only takes transfers, unless anyone can find any evidence to the otherwise this is what every single person says.

You should at least wait until the patch is complete in the next few days. You'll have a chance at being able to create a new character after a patch drops because no one will be logged in. You'd have to be very quick though, since alot of people will rush to log on for this.

Nobody ever gets into Balmung that way, Just gilgamesh, and my problem wasn't wanting to wait for obscure 10 second windows, it was with wanting to be able to pay for a service the store is supposed to provide and finding any possible way to forego a free period I'd rather pay for. I'm guessing this isn't an option however.

Its still possible, but your only other option is to wait.

I've created characters on locked servers by waiting until early in the morning - you might try that if you can't transfer. I then deleted them - it was just done as a test.

You can always ask your friend to transfer to your server although if he or she has a free company, other friends there, etc. that isn't the ideal approach.

Well if this is the attitude of the population I could see I was mistaken in my excitement in joining the game. A moderator is free to delete this at their leisure. I apologize for the trouble. And yes Istvana, he wanted me to join up with the people he'd found there so we could rp, every other world we'd been to had no rp or was completely deserted.
