It's amazing how incredibally lazy players who can burn through 100 anima in short order are. With the introduction of Chocobos and airships there should be little to no reason to have 0 anima unless you are against walking...anywhere.

Auto run would be cool![]()
An interesting point. I suspect the tedium I experience while walking will be resolved with 2.0 and the newly designed areas. Right now, I cannot fathom how anybody could find running through the copy-paste maze that is the Black Forest could be classified as entertaining by any means.
The more I think about your post, the more I realize I'm simply asking for a way to skip the existing monotony. In all seriousness, thank you for your comment. I'll think on this further.

I don't think that there's really a need to change or accelerate the rate of regeneration. The personal horsebirds (khew!) are quite fast and transport between cities is not that expensive.
I say take all the system out, and only allow warp from crystals to its own region only. So from Uldah you would be able to warp to all the camps in that region and between them. But no to Limsa so having an airship would make actual sense, or a chocobo.

I think Anima should be given as quest rewards. Also, the requirement to have at least 1 Anima to use a teleport offer needs to be removed.
The system is fine. please disregard this SE

I wouldn't mind a gil-for-anima service, have one of the guilds in charge of replenishing it for you. 1k gil replenishes 1 anima point. 2k for the next. 4k for the next and so forth. Each successive point just gets more expensive. Then, every X hours or so it gets reset and the price drops back down to 1k.
They can create some excuse that forcing anima a body is a dangerous affair and require increasingly more complex rituals and exotic components the more you try to infuse yourself with it lest you want to explode.
I don't have an issue with Anima regeneration as much as Guardian Aspect/Favor points. Doing leves WITH guardian aspect and with OUT is like apples and oranges. Perhaps this is something they could do with Guild Points in the future? Allow players to Purchase Anima and Guardian Aspect points with Guild currency.
Also I think we could solve this whole problem by placing the Leve NPC's at the camp's where the leve is completed rather than the Adventurers guild. Just save's travel.
