No it got nerfed really fast 4 weeks after the patch was out and wasn't hard at all afterward, my static beat it right after the nerf.

Let me quote something you obviously read over.
It got nerfed because it was a static breaker, Yoshi P himself said he made it too difficult. I'm not sure why you're arguing with me on this anyway.

What I am saying is groups didn't break up over it because it was nerfed fast. It was AS8 that got people stuck cause most everyone I know was stuck on 8 not 6.

Just because yours didn't, or people you may know didn't, doesn't mean others didn't. In fact, when we were trying to refill our static (when we had to let a few go / real life etc) most always said their static broke up due to AS6.
Maybe you completely missed it, or don't interact with the more casual raiders, but yes, *many* groups broke up over A6S, even post nerf. I personally know a group that reformed at least 4 times and still failed, and have heard of several that took over 3 months to kill (and are basically nowhere in 7 because of it, if they could even get a second kill of 6)
People that can raid had little trouble with 6, or 7, and got hit with 8. But the casuals, and the bads...they got stuck on 6. Bad. And many stopped raiding in Midas over it.

Statics that get killed by a difficult fight aren't very good statics to begin with.
