    For Fun: Alternative THM Jobs

    Just a reminder that this is all just for fun, imagining if other Classes (beyond ACN) had multiple Job paths, what it might have looked like.

    Changes to THM / BLM (No real changes to BLM, just to THM to aid in balancing the other Jobs)

    BLM 1: Soul of the Black Mage
    - Extends duration of Umbral Ice and Astral Fire to 13 seconds. Increases Fire/Blizzard Potency to 180.

    Lv.40: Enhanced Intelligence II & Lv.60: Enhanced Intelligence III become Job traits.
    Lv.42: Firestarter, Lv.45: Thunder Mastery, Lv.64: Thunder Mastery II, Lv.68: Enhanced Umbral Heart, & Lv.70: Enhanced Enochian become Black Mage Traits.


    DPS: Sorceror (SRC)
    Concept: "Magic Chemist" or "Witch". Has a longer cast time, with stronger spells. Emphasis on Dark & "Alchemic" Spells
    - Lv. 51+: Incantation "Saving", New Spells, Thunder Bomb, Insta-Cast
    - Lv. 61+: Expanded Residual Aether and related Skills

    - Inflicts "Frail" for 5s. causing the next attack by caster to deal 10% more damage.

    SRC 50: Dark Mist
    Cast: 3.0s | Recast: 2.5s | MP Cost: 2160
    - Creates an aura for 18s around the caster that deals damage with a potency of 30 to all nearby enemies.

    - Increases Intelligence by 16.

    Concept: "Mystic Knight". Shared, opposing history to Black Mage. Magic Swordplay & offensive defense.
    - Lv.51+: New Rune System (tied to Runic Blade) and Rune Skills
    - Lv.61+: Expanded Spell Kit, Encourage alternating Runic Blade and Spells.

    Cast: Instant | Recast: 120s
    - Creates a barrier that nullifies physical damage up to 20% of maximum HP. Duration: 20s

    RNK 40: Runic Blade
    Cast: Instant | Recast: 2.5s | MP Cost: 1200
    - Replaces Blizzard, Fire, and Thunder with Frost Slash, Flame Slash, and Thunder Slash. Improves auto-attack potency based on INT and reduces damage dealt. Effect ends upon reuse.

    RNK 40: Frost Slash
    Cast: Instant | Recast: 2.5s | MP Cost: 240 | TP Cost: 80
    - Deals ice damage with a potency of 150. Grants Umbral Ice for 10s.

    RNK 40: Flame Slash
    Cast: Instant | Recast: 2.5s | MP Cost: 600 | TP Cost: 80
    - Deals fire damage with a potency of 150. Grants Astral Fire for 10s.

    RNK 40: Thunder Slash
    Cast: Instant | Recast: 2.5s | MP Cost: 480 | TP Cost: 80
    - Deals lightning damage with a potency of 30. Deals lightning damage over time with a potency of 40 for 18s.

    RNK 45: Aetheric Shield
    Cast: Instant | Recast: 30s
    - Reduces frontal damage by 20% while damaging enemies in front of the caster. Increases Enmity. Can only be used while Runic Guard is active and while under the effect of Umbral Ice III or Astral Fire III.

    RNK 50: Runic Field
    Cast: Instant | Recast: 300s | Radius: 5y
    - Generates a field around the caster for 5s that draws enmity and deals damage to all enemies and reduces damage to all allies within the radius. Field explodes when it dissipates dealing additional damage to enemies. While active, caster is bound and silenced and most attacks cannot reduce caster HP to less than 1. Can only be used while under the effect of Runic Guard.

    - Astral Fire damage boost is reduced.

    - Generate an "Umbral Shell" while under the effect of Umbral Ice reducing damage taken by 5% per stack of Umbral Ice. Effect remains 10 sec. after Umbral Ice has ended.

    RNK 15: Seething Scathe
    - Potency of Scathe reduced by 50%, enmity generation increased, radius extended.

    RNK 40: Enhanced Vitality II
    - Increases Vitality by 16.

    RNK 60: Enhanced Vitality III
    - Increases Vitality by 24.


    HEALER: Time Mage (TMM)
    Concept: Time/Space Manipulation. Damage/Healing over time, time-delay, speed increase/decreases.
    - Lv.51+: Umbral/Astral Spells, Multi-Cast, Spatial Skills
    - Lv.61+: Eclipse Expansion, More Umbral/Astral/Eclipse Skills

    - Distorts time in an area, increasing attack speed of party members and slowing enemies in the area.

    TMM 40: Distortion
    - Cast: 2.5s | Recast: 2.5s | MP Cost: 1200
    - Deals unaspected damage over time and deals unaspected damage with a potency of 250 at the end of the duration. Potency: 10. Duration: 15s.

    TMM 45: Delayed Recovery
    - Cast: Instant | Recast: 120s
    - Restores target's HP after 8 seconds or upon sustaining Fatal damage. Cure Potency: 720.

    TMM 50: Eclipse
    - Cast: Instant | Recast: 120s
    - Gain the benefits of both Astral Fire III and Umbral Ice III for 10 sec. Casting Transpose may switch to either Astral Fire or Umbral Ice.

    Traits

    TMM 1: Soul of the Time Mage
    - Astral Fire also increases Healing Potency, while MP Cost and damage increase are reduced by 40%.
    - Umbral Ice MP Regeneration is greatly reduced.

    TMM 15: Aligned Renewal
    - While Astral Fire or Umbral Ice is active, casting Renewal will grant the respective effect.
    - If neither effect is active, casting Renewal will grant Astral Fire.

    TMM 40: Enhanced Mind II
    - Increases Mind by 16.

    TMM 60: Enhanced Mind III
    - Increases Mind by 24.
