Can't start Game after latest Win10 update

After the latest Win10 update that was sent out i am unable to start the game anymore. The update seems to have effed up something with windows media player and other things.

It first cried that it couldn't find WMVCORE.dll, then WMASF.DLL and then mfperfhelper.dll. After that it is just constant. 0xc000007 error.

I have reinstalled the media player and c++ redistributable, turned off firewall, and whatever other posts with that problem have said to be their solutions. I have reinstalled Final Fantasy XIV, but that didn't solve the problem either.

Running Windows 10 N(N is version that lacks Windows Media Player and other things, thus required manual install.).

Solved: Go to C:\ and open Windowsold and then system 32. search for the file (use search bar in top right corner) copy file and paste in C.\ => windows => System 32.

Basically use old file. You have to copy 3 files. I forgot name of other 2 but you will get notificationw hen u try to start game after copy wmvcore.dll

Urgh, I updated Win10 after my last logout (or rather, 2002 error) as the update was waiting. I'm on Win10 N too so thanks for the heads up about a likely problem. It saves me a tantrum. XD
