Any "new player" tips that I should know of?

Plenty, but ill stick to just a few.

Follow the main scenario storyline quests, they show you the world(and unlock a lot of doors for you).
Ask for help when you need it.
Have fun.

Bonus forum tip! You can get around the character limit. Type out everything you want to say, copy your text to the clipboard, delete some to get under the character limit, submit your post, then you can immediately edit it and paste back in what you had to delete. Boom! Limits dodged.

Been following Storyline quests, running around the world has gotten me some stuff and nearly died a few times from aggro high ll stuff.

The forum tip is something i knew for a while from other forums that have a limit. Knowing that it works here is nice.
