The chance of winning the 3 lines reward of Wondrous Tails is ridiculously low

its not that rosy, your best bet is to shuffle to get 2 lines and then you have to get next 2 stickers in perfect place, it is much much lower. Those 3 line rewards are miracle worthy to get and to boot SE havent put yet ornate ironworks gear there, they are testing their waters to see how often and how many ppl get actualy get those 3 line rewards.

Don't really get what you mean by "it is much much lower". I got 7 seals, then shuffled until I got those 7 stickers in a place where I could get three lines (if I got the last two in the exact perfect spots).

The odds of getting those two in the perfect spot is 2/9 x 1/8.... = 1/36 which is what I said

how many combinations are there when you shuffle 7 stickers and and what are the odds that those combinations produce a situation that could get 3 lines?

the odds of getting 3 lines is whatever that is x 1/36 not just 1/36. so it's much lower than 1/36.

Wondrous Tails is nonsense.

Second Chance :

By helping someone complete a dungeon they never entered before you get 1 point.
This might work when a patch is still new but the older the patch gets the less Second Chances you'll obtain.

Shuffle only works when you have between 2 and 7 seals and costs 2 Second Change points.
This was made internationally so that you can't increase your winning chances because if one could shuffle with 9 seals one could win 1-2 lines easier.

Getting 3 Lines :

You have to have the Devils luck, nothing more nothing less you can't influence your chances in the slightest even while shuffling.

Rewards :

Are random every week and powerful (5 100% materia slot chest pieces), so if you wanted this weeks reward and couldn't get it you'll probably not see it again for a long long time.


My opinion :

This is another RNG Unjust system, I'm not a fan of content that makes a person win and 10 others lose.
I'm okay with people getting something faster than others but everyone will have it in the end.
Now people not being able to get certain items/etc at all while others are getting it because of luck is an old and outdated system to include ingame.

I mean if the 3rd line reward would be a minion, some MGPs or hell even Gils, I wouldn't have been against it this much but having a 5 100% materia slot chest piece as reward is really nonsense and unjust.

That's not the game's problem, though. A minimum of 1 line is obtainable for everyone regardless of their luck if they reshuffle enough times. Actually even 2 lines is doable with shuffling since you can do it for up to 7 seals. So really luck only kicks in with the last 2 stickers if you place your original 7 in a way that can allow for 3 lines. Not too bad for the reward imo.

Still running last week's book. I might possibly get around to collecting a couple more stickers but the rng elements of it have removed any drive or imperative to actively farm this for me.
