Patch 3.4 i250 gear - weapon only or both weapon and armor?

I have been trying to confirm whether i250 player crafted gears include armor or just weapons - I didn't see it from the TGS feed - did anyone see any mentions of i250 player crafted armor at all?

Yes they said in the end that it will be both armor and weapons.

That image is of a special version of the gear that will be able to be gotten from Wondrous Tales, the "SP" version. The regular crafted version will presumably not have 5 materia slots, since 5-slotted "SP" Ironworks gear was also shown as a reward from Wondrous Tales.

And it's Dragoon armor.

The mismatched Def and MDef show it to be Dragoon armor. That many open slots, though, that has me wondering : are people other than tanks/casters getting gear that prevents wearing a hat? The only current 4 materia slot gear is gear that takes both head and body slots (casters/tanks) or both legs and feet slots (tanks only). Is this going to be such?

tbh, i think the live letter build wasn't finished and we won't get those 5 guaranteed slots in the actual patch. why do i think so? cause in the live letter under the rewards for wondrous tails he also showed ilv190 crafting/gathering gear (which we already have in-game) but it also had 5 materia slots.

The 5-slot i250 gear and crafter gear is from Wondrous Tales. According to Yoshi-P, he expects only a couple of people, per server, to get those rewards every week. So it shouldn't have much of an impact on the markets. Of course, only time will tell, haha!
