Though I'd actually hoped there'd be a way to get Edda's ghost to show up and haunt you following the TTD HM story. Sadly, Palace of the Dead had to wreck all of that...

'Voices of Madness' could actually be fun though. One that has extreme demonic whispering, and one that just very rarely says something to throw you off guard.

Nowadays whenever I heard the word madness, this comes to mind.

I'm still praying for some sort of ghost Edda (from tam tara hm ending, not black Edda from potd) furniture to help spook up my house.

while the rain did seem lil oddish compared to a rolling storm.. least they did start making these for us. Just need more to get on board and show support and ideas. =D

Another idea to add to the pool! How about a blizzard sound effect? Would go well if we ever get Ishgard housing! XD

Also some sort of Zen meditation for Shirogane housing maybe? :x

The Zen one we mentioned since yea thats kinda needed now. Normal Flute and Lutes and so.

Blizzard could be cool. I always think of Lunar 2 when you enter that city and had to kill the snow beast. Had a blizzard sound.

Le Bump to get some fresh posts in about ambient sound as well as the effects.

With Halloween around the corner, here are some suggestions I came up with:

• Sad crying with echo effect (think witch from L4D)
• Insane laughter with echo effect (Edda anyone? :3)
• The crowded sound effect when there's tons of player gathered in the same spot (asset already in game)
• I think this was already mentioned before, but Wind chime + Wind blowing + insect for a typical daytime summer in Japan-ish effect

First, thanks to the developers for already adding some ambient orchestrion rolls!

I would love so many more ambient rolls added as well as a way to play them simultaneously with other tracks. Ambient sounds are more relaxing for me since I'm a musician and my brain naturally cannot help analyzing most music. The orchestrion would be much more useful with ambient tracks.

I like previous suggestions and most particularly the sound of wind chimes. It might be more difficult to implement though given the range of sounds and randomness in winds that make it so pleasant in the real world, but we can dream. Yes, yes, yes to blizzard!

The current tracks are a little forceful, as Niqote added. The best ambient sounds are of course still out in the world of eorzea and I'm hoping for tracks closer to that.

Also, creepy Halloween tracks might inspire some very fun haunted mansions and houses in the community!

Well I never thought of the Busy Kitchen sound, great addition for Cafe houses!

Also the bonfire! So devs thank you for continuing to add sounds!

Personally... still waiting on the "Bentbranch Thunderstorm" ambient sound!!!

Also my new feedback. Holidays are coming. Some sorta sleigh bells or christmas like ambient sound could be neat too. That... or just give us Christmas Jueno from FFXI lol.
