Thread: Patch 3.4 Notes (Preliminary)

Look at all these QoL changes that I will appreciate especially that Countdown Timer and also Multiple clock display. No more sitting through annoying countdown macros by anyone.

Dont forget we get craftable glowing Ravana- and Thordan-weapons (and a lot more crafting stuff).

My personal highlights:

• Palace of the Dead (including new treasure chests)
• Sophia Ex (and her music!!!)
• Machinist now without ammunition-timer (yay)
• Duel-Mode and Custom Feast
• Story Mode
• More options for fancy screenshots /gpose
• New Housing stuff (including Orchestrion playlist and new scrolls)
• Alexander Final (for some reason)
• Materia meld Parameter Preview
• New Pulltimer without using a macro
• Direct RMT Report Feature (finally!)

Missing:

• Egi Glamours
• Palace of the Dead Ranking
• Chinese dress in Mog Station (coming on patch day)

i guess it won't be present in premade parties but it's not actually stated in the patch notes. also the bolded part is only present in the english and japanese version of the patch notes, but not in french nor german.

Isn't that just the Raid Finder conditions of Patch 3.3 (with a non full premade party)?

Raid finder with "completion" as the goal will not add the same job to your group, but I think you could queue with 2 of the same and have raid finder fill the rest. And if you selected any of the phase practices as the objective you could get duplicate jobs.

Most of this stuff sounds pretty awesome, but I'm just a bit disappointed at the changes involving the highlander emote. Don't get me wrong, that they're getting a new unique one is absolutely long overdue, but did they really have to give the old one to everyone? That just strips the Hildy emote of its uniqueness instead.

Yeah, I've always thought that made the healer lb a bit less... "Limit Break" than it could have been.
