The Tower in the center is shaped a lot like the Tower vs Kefka in the final fight. There are even pipes and things sticking out of it and something stuck inside the tower with its wings poking out of it.

Good finding. I like to think it's simply aestethic, but I can't help thinking that SE going to cater to the fans and bring us Kefka....
4th Eikon anyone?

Man, I noticed that wing ages ago...
... what it means, if anything, who knows. Any guess is, at this point, more or less a shot in the dark.

Orchestral Laughing Mad please?
I don't think it'll happen since we have 3.5 left, which the last Triad will come out, and then 4.0 is around the corner. Unless they squeeze both fights into one patch.

They never confirmed if 3.5 will be the last patch though, at least nothing I've seen. All I remember seeing is something regarding how the 3.0 arc will be a bit longer than the 2.0 arc and may involve "more" patches than 2.0 did.

Well I don't think it's a big surprise since the Warring Triad comes from FF6 anyways :x
Who knows, maybe we get a little cameo with Kefka himself with the third god?

Xande from FF3 was made to be an Allagan Emperor, it wouldn't be unreasonable if Kefka was his court jester who tried to steal the Triad's power but was stopped/imprisoned along with the Triad. It could also be the whole Dark Lumina from Brave Fencer Musashi trope: the Triad were sealed away as guardians to protect the coming of a greater, more powerful evil, and by defeating/releasing them from this realm, Kefka is released.

I believe one of the running theories is that Regula van Hydrus manages to find the power that he is looking for and is able to harness some of the warring triads power to become a "Kefka" primal. Him killing the emperor would be a stretch, but not out of the realm of possibility.Xande from FF3 was made to be an Allagan Emperor, it wouldn't be unreasonable if Kefka was his court jester who tried to steal the Triad's power but was stopped/imprisoned along with the Triad.
