Actually your efforts mean nothing really. I can log in, do expert, log out, come the next day and repeatedly do that just to get the latest tome gear, making doing anything else like materia melding pointless. because the standard stats from that gear is all you need to do anything. Or I could sit around and wait for the hunt ls to go off and kill them while watching netflix and meet my daily cap quickly. Strongest gear now with perfect melds? Next patch you'll just be standard, nice job on that raid clear btw, shame your gear is now 10ilvls lower than the new tome gear![]()
It all really makes sense to just to sub when a new patch drops. :/
everyone can play like they want , no one is forcing u to stay subbed :P
also i prefer new gear every 3 months, then running around in the same gear for 1 year ^^
but guess tastes are different :P

The people who like it how it is never give good enough reasons except the same old excuse NEW PEOPLE NEW PEOPLE NEW PEOPLE! Thats all I ever see. At least the people who want changes have thought out ideas. But what do I know not much honestly.

This is how I feel. It would annoy me to constantly have to open my character menu or have a bunch of gear sets for one class set on my hotbar. There isn't anything interesting about it. You just swap gear for one fight, then swap back.
Or maybe, just maybe, they like the current system and disagree with your "interesting" ideas. Nonetheless, forum representation of any game is a decidedly minority. And even then, different forums have different stances. For instance, the FFXIV reddit community is far less negative than this board. Your opinions are just that: opinions. Don't presume they are unique just because you fancy them. I, for one, found Black Desert boring. You said in another thread you liked it. To me, BDO is a boring grindfest to you it may be something else. That's okay. We just have different interests.

I've come to terms that nothing we say will ever happen and as I've said already I will play to enjoy the story and the few fluff they add then unsub until the next patch. Ill get my last Vet reward since those will be ending as well and enjoy other games and give my money elsewhere.Or maybe, just maybe, they like the current system and disagree with your "interesting" ideas. And i agree with you on BDO but something still draws me to it but the RNG can suck it.

Not so much, you see yosh is not talking about pre server. He's talking about over all. For player that will not move off big server they will be fucked even @ 37000 room after just a few months. Smaller server will still have many if not 1000s of room left over after a year. There is no way for them to give everyone a room if they put a ## on it.

I was really hoping for some, atleast some small kind of different progression and customization. Well, I am disappointed.
Honestly, Deep Dungeons is a disappointment for me just because of this... Independent progression system and they did absolutely nothing new with it... The items you get are OK, but meh... How nice would it have been to effectively find materia in chests that you can put on your Aetherpool gear for various effects? It was the perfect place to implement some horizontal progression, but instead it's just rapid vertical progression with no depth added at all...
I guess I get where Yoshida is coming from, but I still think adding physical levels back in can please both sides... Just change item levels to work similarly to Morale in PvP, except rather than adding X item levels, it puts you at that physical level... Raise physical level through some long term grind that involves all sorts of content, and have it effectively make gear redundant... If I'm physical level 220, for example, then I need gear with an item level higher than 220 to get anything from it... I can take all my gear off and still effectively have the stats of item level 220... I'd do that kind of grind just to be free of their thrice-damned glamour system, personally...
Alternatively, take character growth off the character and slap it on the gear... I guess I just really hate the glamour system, but I want to use gear I like... Let me "level up" my gear, so I can take Balmung and slowly raise it to a current item level, rather than taking Guillotine of the Tyrant and slapping Balmungs skin on it... That gives me some long term goal to work on, that I want to work on because I loath glamours, without impacting new/returning players... They can still jump back in next week and get i250 at the same time as me... Honestly, he says he is balancing opinions on this, but I really feel like he is making the game far too easy to pick up... Ideally I think you want to make a game that is both easy to pick up, and hard to put down... That's how you retain players, but right now? The game seems so easy to pick up that it's also easy to put down... I could quit tomorrow, come back with 4.0 and be pretty much equal with everyone in a few days...
