Can we all talk about the new apartments that are coming out? I do not like the fact that players with FC rooms or actual houses can snag an apartment. If SE is really wanting players to get housing which we all know we want....they need to limit the housing to those who currently have so those who don't have can get. You are going to get those people who have housing buy a few on their mains and alts...just to hog it all. I love the game for its entirety but the housing is lacking. If the people who have housing already are restricted that would be nice. I am tired of the housing bandits coming by and taking all the areas and reselling for a (excuse my language) retarded price.

Why limit who can acquire an apartment when it's been mentioned that the apartment system is designed to be scalable and allow everyone who wants an apartment to have one?

With the implementation of apartments, the personal demands for housing will be 100% met. Each ward has 1 apartment with 90 rooms, and we are ready to increase the number of rooms whenever we want. We designed it so 1 ward can have over 500 rooms per apartment, so it will definitely be able to cover every player. Players who already own a house can buy an apartment. We also have a chocobo stable per apartment so players who didn't have a house to feed and change the color wii be able to now.

500 rooms in each ward? That sounds reasonable so would that be 1k for the regular and sub? Or just 500 for the entire ward itself?

Over 6,000 apartments to start with the ability for SE to add more if/when needed. It's going to be okay.

SE alrdy said everyone will have a room, there will be over 370000 befor too long.. So what if you have to wait a few week for them to up the count at 1st, it starts @ 90 and will go up too 500 pre Ward, and + don't for get we have more wards coming and a new town for house still being planed for ishgard... So ya 430000 if and when we get Ishgard housing. You ppl need to take a chi-pill and just slow down.

This is not housing there will be more then what we need over time.

why should someone, who already owns a house or is a fc member rent a single useless room?

you cant use them for gardening, airships, or anything else

They are creating a 6K instance system that can be duplicated 500 times each.

The way I have understood it, there is not going to be any shortage of apartments, ever.

This is a non-issue.
