When/Why were you vote kicked?

So after 4 months, I was on the receiving end of my first votekick. It is a strange feeling the first time around. But it was odd, it didn't come from the mega wipe-fest I thought may happen some day, but it was a good run.

Was running Haukke Manor NM (Tank), had cleared everything up until the last boss, nil wipes, party seemed fine. The party was myself and 3 JP players. I ran up the stairs to clear the barrier for the final boss, the was a little bit of JP chatter in the dialogue box and BOOM! Goneski.

I had a heap of dungeons selected in DF, so I just resubmitted, and was placed back in the same dungeon, same party.

Me: <I'm sorry> <How come?>
Followed by a JP response.
Me: <I'm sorry> <I don't speak Japanese>.

There was about 5 minutes of dialogue in JP that went on then, the party just standing at the bottom of the stairs.

Then one of the other players left, was replaced and we knocked over the boss first go.

Was quite strange. I tried to copy the text to add to autotranslate in Google, but the game crashed when I tabbed out, so an eternal mystery.

But there must be some interesting stories out there I imagine.

The one and only time I was kicked was after my friend was kicked in Syrcus Tower.

A guy from my server had queued with some other people from our server and started complaining about my friend's tanking for no reason as far as I could tell, getting very abusive about it. They tried to boot him before the second boss, I hit no. The second attempt before Amon was successful. Another tank came in almost immediately. I told them to kick me too, because I was really frustrated with the way they treated my friend. They complied.

I'm not even sure if that counts as a real kick or not because I basically asked for it. Over the two years and many many dungeons and CT raid runs I have done, nothing else has happened to me since. I don't know if I am exceptionally lucky or if I am just playing in a way that most people like.

Only been kicked from one dungeon. I was tanking Dzamael Darkhold and got kicked cause I rolled need on a piece of loot cause I wanted it for glamour. I was already level 50. I was asked why I rolled need and I responded with, "For glamour." BOOM......kicked. I just lol'd

New players might not know what that means lol. Say it to yourself as though you do not know what your referencing. You just sound like a douche lol.

Only time I've ever been kicked is when I was called away for IRL things and the AFK timer beat me. And a couple of DCs that lasted like twenty minutes so ofc I was kicked.

First and only time was a few weeks ago. Qued for high lvl roulette and got Brayflox HM. It was your basic speed run pull. Suddenly the tank died and I kept kiting the mobs while healer ressed. Tank grabbed the mobs and soon he was dead again. He left, without saying a word. We wiped. I waited a few minutes to see if we'd get a tank, but no luck. Said I'd go make some tea explainig that my kitchen is only a few steps away and I can see my screen from there. The others said nothing, they just stood there.

I put some water in the electric kettle. No tank in sight, others still not moving. I finished making my tea and got back to my seat. The dps and healer had started killing mobs. I was about to type "I'm back", but at that very moment I got kicked. No chat, no new tank, nothing. I had been afk for less than 2 minutes - in a group that was missing a tank O.o

No idea what their actual problem was, they had killed 2 mobs while I was away.

The only time I've been votekicked was when my internet went out for about 20 minutes, so I can't blame them one bit for that.

I had the leader of a farm party kick me once because their DRG friend wanted to come in-- I would have been more annoyed if one of the tanks hadn't died twice in the previous run and made for a close shave. As it was, I felt like I dodged a bullet of sorts.

Got my first vote kick yesterday. Garuda story mode with a DF party, my first time for this fight. Frankly, I mostly deserved it; I was having trouble getting properly positioned on the pillars and kept dying.

Friend got kicked for the first time just for using a mage LB on a large group of mobs while speed running. Yes, because apparently that LB YOU WILL NOT USE DURING THE 2ND BOSS OF SNOWCLOAK is apparently needing to be saved.
