Magic classes arent just for damage numbers, a very large part of being a magic class is the large array of spell effects that gain visual appeal as you level... IE. tiered magic.
im way bummed as ive been waiting for 1.20 to fiiiinally immerse myself into BLM.

i dont like melee classes yet ive (like many others) found CNJ to be less visually appealing than the melee classes since launch... now it got even uglier.

yes i know they said they are revamping spell effects in 1.21 HOWEVER, they did say (though its their own fault for being vague) that this new all in one spell effect is an actual system that they are implementing.
this may be a temporary "system" however i personally doubt it. it seems to be extremely reminiscent of some of the most generic magic classes in every other no name MMO.

SE, i ask that you reconsider this "system" one way or another and add spell effects that change upon their potency.

Yoshi P - you constantly worry about realism and what looks good in this game. well following your own logic it does not make any sense whatsoever to allow a low level BLM to cast the same spell effects as max level BLM. period.

BLM and SMN are my life in the FF because of its sheer uniqueness over every other magic user in every other game.
please save BLM. (visually)

BTW, this is literally my first real gripe about anything theyve done.

so click the like button if you want BLM to one way or another keep different spell effects for different potencies of the same magic type, such as a low level fire spell vurses WHAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE a seasoned BLM casting a high level fire spell.
