How do manage to get Folklore when it's 99 Tokens?

It's literally 44,550 for all 9 Folklores, which I think is a tad overdone. The whole token system in general is just something I've loathed for a time considering the fact that it locks progression to an extremity(and at 60 Blues for each turn-in of Cuprite, you have to wait for so long).

Not to mention some of the good i250 gear is locked behind it, too, so you wouldn't even be able to scratch it unless you cap 22 and 1/4th times to get the items that you need.

Those books been there for more than 6 months i believe.
They been nerf in a way.
You can change red coins for blue ones, or items like morel give more blues per turn in.
I use to collect those items that pay the most an save them in inventory or retainer an just wait for them to have a favorite for extra points.

Well, that's good to hear since I'm capable of doing Adamantite Ore...but I'm still i139. I haven't been able to progress any further because of crafter limitations(which seems to be the answer to almost everything right now).

I hate wasting my unspoiled gathering nodes on Collectables. The best advice I can give is, just do your Red Scrip collectables, convert them Blue Scrip. Every 3 weeks a new folklore book will be complete. Removes so much of the grind aspect of it.

I've knocked out a single book in a single weekend with just the miner/botanist unspoiled blue scrip turn ins (no red scrips, since it was before they could be converted). However, you kinda have to stay on those nodes all weekend long to do it. Illuminati perch from fishing (with brute leech as bait, the blue scrip cost is insignificant compared to what you'll get from them) are also a good way to get blue scrips, and they're always up regardless of time or weather.

Gather Morel and Cuprite as collectables, and Illuminati Perch in between windows. Save up all of them, and turn in your loads whenever one is on bonus. You can get 3 cuprite/morel per go as long as your perception is high enough: do Discerning Eye+Methodical twice and then Single Mind+Methodical (600 GP total). At 72 scrip a piece, or 48 for the fish, when on bonus, you can easily get a book in 2-3 hours (depending on your luck with fishing and bonuses). The 20% boost for being on bonus is key; be patient and unafraid to fill a retainer up with collectables waiting for a bonus window. I usually turn in up to about 1500 scrip worth before bulk-buying tokens, and repeating until my inventory is clear. I went from 1 book to 5 books in 2 weekends of 3-4 hours of doing this.

This has been out for over a yeah. It's been nerfed and made easier.. it's not as bad as it looks. Just do one at a time.

You need the Folklore books to get anything from the Folklore nodes, such as the gathered materials for the new gear.

Abalthian mistletoe in sea of clouds 10-11
Morell in hinterlands pretty quick fly form anytrine 12-1
cuprite hinterlands 2-3. or maybe 3-4

if your doing red scrips you can get chysahl greens at 9-10 before the mistletoe and adamantite at 11-12 between mistle toe and morell.

it takes about 10 mins to clear them all. including travel time the odd wait wait for gp. but you can typically get around 500 blue scrips in that window + however many reds. or if ya not doing red can really push the gp on the blues for extra items. and can do it twice an hour am and pm.
