Erozea too much?

Well our "planet" is Hydaelyn and the content we are exploring is Eorzea.
As we know that Eoroza have too many threatning stuff happending....such primals, warring triad, garlean etc. Ive been wondering why exact eorzea.
Its kind of too much that eorzea have alot of threath going on while us WoL is cleaing up the mess.. But what about other contents? Other side of the world that is not the content Eorzea. Do other contents have primals n stuff? If yes.. What kind or primals do they have on the other side? Eorzea already got all known primals that has been in earlier ff-series. So everything is taken i bet they will add more "known" summons later in the game...such eden, kuja, valefore(they messed it up in ct raid) etc. Who knows?

Unless eorzea is a Big content. Like eorzea is big as europe/asia/afrika and russia all in one.

Eorzea is a subcontinent that is part of the greater Aldenard continent (I think), like how Europe is a part of the greater Eurasian continent.

It's the hub of aetheric activity on all Hydaelyn (Eorzea is more aether-dense than anywhere else), so naturally a lot of activity happens in and around the region.

Whether we ever get to leave Eorzea, who knows. With Ala Mhigo coming up we'll have explored the entire region, so it's either leaving home or alternate reality versions of the region.

Other regions are capable of summoning primals, i.e. a Doman primal was what convinced the Garleans to have a genocidal policy against beast tribes, and both Bahamut and the Warring Triad are Meracydian in origin.

I'm sure we get to travel further and further as we get patches and expansions. After all if everything was just right there there might not be much room for growth/exploration of the game's world. :P

The best way to put it is probably that Eorzea is a geographical and/or cultural region that encompasses all of Aldenard (the actual continent) and all of the islands surrounding Aldenard, the largest of which being Vylbrand.

Bingo. Mor Dhona is though to to be the cradle of life, so to speak. Silvertear Lake is considered the center of the world's aetherial networks - where all of the great rivers meet. It's said to be the source of all life, all water, all magic. There's a good chance, then, that cultures throughout the world actually migrated out of Eorzea in the first place. But that's sure an ethnocentric worldview, isn't it? For all we know, Eorzeans are mistaken...

They do. Ilsabard doesn't seem to - Ilsabard is pretty devoid of aether, as far as we know; the Garleans can't even manipulate it. Why? Who knows. Not to promote the <AncientAliensGuy.png> [ALLAGANS] theme, but perhaps they were aetherially sterilized somehow, long, long ago. Othard, however, does have primals. They made the Garlean invasion quite costly, so much so that they put the whole Eorzean theatre on hold once they realized primals were here, too. Whatever the primals of Othard are like, they're probably not much like ours - even having heard legends Yugiri was shocked about what Leviathan was like.

You're both wrong, actually. Eorzea is not a continent or subcontinent. It's a nation, like France or Germany, on the continent Aldenard.

My geographical knowledge outside of Eorzea is somewhat lacking, and I admitted I might have it wrong. So cut me some slack, geez...

Regardless, Eorzea is not a single nation. There is the Eorzean Alliance, an... alliance of city-states that exist within Eorzea. There is no singular "Eorzean Government" that runs the region - there are the city-states of Ul'dah, Gridania, Limsa Lominsa, and Ishgard that govern Thanalan, the Black Shroud, Vylbrand (La Noscea), and Coerthas respectively. Even then there are areas in Eorzea that lie outside their sovereignty, such as Mor Dhona, Dravania, and most of Abalathia's Spine, and Ala Mhigo and Gyr Abania, currently occupied by the Garleans.

It's like the Greek polis setup with less infighting.

Woah woah, where are people getting these ideas? Look at the Eorzean map in-game to see what Eorzea is. The realm of Eorzea includes Aldenard, Vylbrand and many smaller surrounding islands.

Aldenard is the continent that includes Thanalan, Black Shroud, Mor Dhona, Coerthas, Dravania, Abalathia's Spine, Xelphatol and Gyr Abania.... Vylbrand is the island that includes La Noscea and O'Ghomoro.
