History tells of a Meracydian nation comprised of a multitude of races, the foundations of which were built on the worship of a single deity. The "Goddess," as she was simply known, graced the souls of her worshipers with perfect equilibrium, binding their disparate societies in gilded chains of harmony.

In the present day, she is better known as Sophia, one of the incalculably powerful eikons of the Warring Triad. And after five thousand years of imprisonment, her failed plans for vengeance once more threaten to come to fruition. Defeat the wakened thralls and slay the stirring Goddess, lest her divine "balance" bring all the world to equal ruin!

..... I bet Regula will be in a fit once he discovers that *spoken* race can also summon not just primal, but something as powerful as eikon.

Oooh sounds interesting. So she isn't a goddess of a specific race.

You know, I really wish we could use the echo to take part in the Allagan conquest against Meracydia. That would make a pretty epic expansion. Not now obviously, but in a few years.

I would love to see him throw a tantrum. He fancies himself the new Nael or Gaius, but honestly he is like a pokemon rival. We already beat him up three times and all he managed to be is a mild annoyance. I'm sure he will be tough in the final battle, but I'll just be glad to be rid of him (like Nidhogg).

I'm also wondering about this whole "perfect equilbrium" thing for their society. Does that mean every time someone was born someone died? Did all four seasons last exactly three months on the dot? Did she standardize how many months were in a day across the board? Did day/night last the exact same amount of time every year? Did every overcooked meal mean someone had an undercooked meal? You get the idea.

Unukalhai has stated and written in his jurnal that primals and eikons are different things. I'm not going into details since it's been discussed here several times but basically eikon =/= primal and eikon > primal.

In addition to this, from what I've gathered, the Garleans use the term "eikon" for what we define as "Primals." The word's meaning sort of changing over time in their society while the original definition back in the day of the Allagans was that an "Eikon" was much stronger than a "Primal." Again that's been my interpretation of it.
