Restricting rewards for alts in top 100 for the Feast.

Greetings everyone , I hope this suggestion is taken into consideration. I personally have no grudge against people using their alts once their main has reached a high enough rating but I think its unfair to others who still don't have the rewards on their main. Not to mention that while ranking up this alt will get more favourable teams due to the current matchmaking system, thus lowering the rating of anyone playing on their main against them. Now many of these people playing on their alt say they don't care about rewards for their alt so I suggest limiting it to one character per service account so that everyone who can't play for 12 hours a day deserve a chance to get in top 100. Or rather make a separate list for alt characters. I wont point any fingers but it's pretty obvious who the alt characters are in this list for those who regularly pvp: http://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...nking/thefeast

I completely agree with this. I find it unfair that people who work hard with their main get kicked out of the top 100 because of people are getting in the top 100 with their second character. I know some people who just like to play without risking losing their rating, but there are people that are selfish and arrogant enough to do it just to get their alt in the top 100 to get the rewards on their alt as well. It needs to be restricted to one character per account.

Just make it 1 character to qualify but make the gear account-wide, which it should be anyway.

Y'know at the end of the day it might come off like this thread seems jealous but liquid makes a real good point. You should only be able to submit one character to the feast. I understand people who make alts because they want to practice a new class, or try one out. Like for example I'm terrible at healer, but if I were to queue with the gold rank I am now the game would matchmake me under the presumption I was good. Which I'm not. So herein lies a reason for alts.

I doubt they will do anything about this as it just comes down to an individuals morals and honour at the end of the day but people joining on their main class as an alt and then laughing at how imbalanced the games are due to the fact they're experienced pvpers on that job, are nothing more than selfish people trying to take advantage of the messed up matchmaking this season.
