    1) Restore the Armoury System to like it was at the end of 1.0 as a base class with 1 Job crystal attached as an upgrade which would bring consistency to it, (in other words, give classes to the Heavensward Jobs, such as Musketeer (MSK) for MCH, Ravager (RVG) for DRK and Mystic (MYS) for Astrologian, and separate SCH from ACN and give it a new base class like Mediator (MED), and stop tinkering around it's edges.
    2) Make a slight change to FATEs like Campaign Battles in FFXI in that to participate you no longer just have to move into range of the FATE, instead you have to click on a FATE status button that will allow you to participate, as FATEs as they are are very distracting when you don't want to do them and have to pass through one in order to get where you are going! This would also make quests/leves easier which happen to use a the same spot a FATE has spawned in.
    3) This is probably more unlikely now given 3.4 will add the GC Platoons, but I would still love to see 1.0's Path Companions return as an alternative to the Companion Chocobo.
    4) It's more of a minor thing but the weather changing being tied to certain times on the clock is stupid and not realistic at all - a more random weather system would make things more realistic, as I can literally watch to clock when it's raining to know when to expect it to stop.
    5) No more non-FF related crossovers events! I know plenty of people who hated the Yokai-Watch event simply because it had absolutely nothing to do with FF and seemed like a a waste of time (and if that was bad enough the event had all the grind of the maligned atma part of the relic weapon quest). I like the crossover events, but the Yokai-Watch event took things too far. Please keep the crossover events to FF games as they at least make a little sense to be included.

    That's about all I can think of at the moment.

    1. Get rid of the pointless main stat allocation, and replace it with something better, like secondary stats. There would be so much more depth to gear choices in this game if I could easily change around a few secondary stats whenever I wanted.

    2. Remove classes from the game they serve no purpose anymore and just add an extra layer of confusion for new players.

    3. Get rid of anti-rmt features that inconvenience regular players as well. I'm tired of needing to mail stuff to my friends or FC members just so I can mail things to my alt.

    4. Drop PS3 support now rather than later so we can stop using memory limitations as an excuse not to have QoL improvements.


    5. My character should do the arm of the destroyer animation whenever I hit the ground from those very tall heights in dungeons. (warrior of light should do hero landings )

    Agreed. Yeah, maybe it would be a technical challenge to get the 2.x zones flight-compatible, but they should chin up and just do it. Right now, it just seems odd that we know our mounts can fly, but only in HW? What the hell is that bs about?

    Also as far as "unlocking" flight, the aether current system isn't necessary. That entire thing should really be removed. Imagine the simplicity of one quest unlocking flight everywhere. Quests could be done faster, instead of after the fact. No more folks saying "Oops sorry, I can't get there, I never unlocked flight in that area".

    I think flying should be a "perk" to 2.x zones. You should still have to unlock it through the quest in HW that unlocks flying in general. Also, I didn't mind the aether current thing. It was kind of fun to explore the area looking for them. One of the few times exploring was worthwhile.

    A couple of things.

    1. Raiding shouldn't be too hard or too easy. (ie. too hard a3s and a1-4s in general, these raids killed off to large of a raiding community, we cannot have a repeat of that)

    2. More mini games and different pvp modes with advanced gameplay (capture the flag or king of the hill game modes come to mind)

    3. More fc group content. Increase the reasons out there to join a fc.

    4. Crafting/gathering related minigames or stuff that require crafting in a fun way. Crafting/gathering is okay... but I feel they could do more to make it fun.

    1.(More like what I WISH would happen) Relocalize spell names so they're more in line with traditional Final Fantasy Lingo, Fire II and Fire III just sound like upgrades and not individual spells, I'm pretty sure Final Fantasy fans know their spells and new players have job quests and spell information to tell them what spell does what, it's confusing especially if you've come from XI because numerals in that game meant a stronger version of that spell in particular, all newer version of re-released Final Fantasy games re-corrected themselves so they're more in line with their Japanese version releases because space limitations are no longer a thing. Koji Fox's explanation for the change just proves how little faith he had with player intelligence.


    2. If tomes are a thing again no weekly lock out, if people complain about having nothing to do after gearing up all their classes in the best gear then it's on them. I would be one of those people who would gear myself up instantly but I'd know what I'm getting into so I wouldn't be having a moan about having nothing to do, I just think having the option is nice, the players that want to pace themselves will and the ones that want to get it over with will, to each their own.


    3. Keep the icons consistent, Yoshida did bring this up before but I can't stress enough how annoying it was when there were like 5 different stack together icons, some even reusing other icons for completly unrelated mechanics in previous dungeons/raids. The game's gotten a bit better but there was a sneaky one in 3.2 where concussion could be cured in Anti Tower but not in Alexander Midas Floor 5 despite sharing the same animation.

    4. PS3 support should be dropped just to see what could be done for next expansion if they can now develop content on more powerful systems.

    5. And I guess for new players, trim down the fat in some of the main story quests in ARR. Some of it was absolute filler and not in the good charming way like in previous games, I appreciate seeing the world of Eorzea but making me go back and forward x5 to the same place over and over again do what appears to be World of Warcrafts "Collect 3 boar butts" tier quests? In my Final Fantasy? No thanks. Nearly dropped the game when I was doing that long quest chain just to fight titan.

    1. add content sync (= e.g. boost a level 50 primal to a certain item level range and make it drop corresponding aetherial gear, no mechanic changes, could also work for lv50/60 dungeons) to keep all content kinda relevant, but obviously you can't exceed a certain level
    2. add necromancer or rename summoner to necromancer and make adjustments to the skills and story to fit this change
    3. more focus on tanks that tank. a MT should never be able to tank outside it's tank stance
    4. make normal and 24-man raids farmable from the beginning, but make them a bit more challenging (or one item per day instead of one per week)
    5. make savage gear equal to the next tiers normal mode gear level or even a tiny bit stronger, so by doing savage in this tier, you can start the next one right on release
