There are also a bunch of random people who nobody recognizes from the same server as said player in Top 30 with suspiciously low win rates.

Now look at Aether, Chaos, both DC's which have had people pay millions of Gil to be boosted to rank 1. Then add on the fact that the second we queue to go against a group from your server, we win 1 game then the queues suddenly stop. What would you think?

That said, tonight a ton of people were queuing and still kept queuing even after multiple losses. If there are really that many people legitimately interested in 4's now, and you got it going on Exodus, then I 100% apologize and will be the first to thank you. 4v4 Light Party needs more people queuing for it, and tonight we saw more pops than we had seen since pre-season. My group plans to continue queuing when we can in the evenings, and hope to see this activity continue.

I feel the need to get rid of the rumor before it starts: Nobody on Aether (as far as I know, and I'd like to think I know quite well) has payed to reach top ranks. If that is the methods used by the current win traders from Sargantanas, I would believe it, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

My thoughts were that these "lesser" players who feed the "booster" their points, are still promised a spot in the top 30, which most of them are.

I am only referring to the exodus group specifically. So yea.

Even if this is the case, I do think it is very fishy that a team plays one game and then ceases queuing. It is a practice notoriously linked to win traders/boosters. If the players on the withdrawing side actually wanted to play and improve, they would just accept the queue.

I have no idea how the feast rating works but I can explain where most of the matches come from. We have a 70 person linkshell on exodus where somebody will ask: "hey who wants to do some 4v4s" After asking around, and a few shouts in wolves den for good measure we try to make teams that are as fair as we can and duke it out. We've even done it with the healers as team captains picking who they want on their team, with the higher /random roll getting first pick. The scores that you see on the party ranking are simply a result of that. There are people currently in the top 30 who have been pvping for less than two weeks and they got there because the premade queue is so dead that there simply isn't any other competition. It's been nice to see so many new people enter the pvp scene all I can hope for is that they stick with it. I'll be the first to admit that no mercy is shown to said players resulting in matches that might be considered more of a 3v4 than a 4v4. Two of my losses are actually because the healer on my team was brand new, had 8k hp and a full set of nq i150 vendor gear.

Full credit to them for getting a ton of players, both new and old together for 4v4s. As for me being random I can understand that completely since I haven't really done any solo queue at all (other than a few thousand matches in the og wolves den). I'm generally not available to pvp after 9est either due to raiding with multiple groups.

Koltiks' probably just upset they stopped queueing cuz he wasn't able to get the free rating for his 5th alt on the the 5th datacenter. From what Aviars wrote, and the fact you guys are now accusing people of wintrading for making premades against each other, it's not very different from you expecting noobs to queue so you can farm them for rating, and then whining about it when they don't.

If they're playing their hardest between each other, and one team is constantly coming out on top then to be fair they should switch around the people in the parties. Other than that, it's just wintaking, and NOT win-trading if it's a fair fight.

Sure, but if your team got steam rolled over in 30 seconds and you KNEW you'd just be playing the same team over and over again because no one else is in queue I don't think most people would queue, whether they were being dishonest or not. It's not fun or interesting for the losing team, and they aren't learning anything through it either. Lots of people in top 100 for solo queue across all datacenters already openly do this where they try to "game the queues" where they'll only queue (or stop queueing) if they think that have a good shot at getting the better team.

I mean, how many of you would queue solo queue if you knew there were only 2 people healing and you were going to be matched with a terrible healer? Same concept in teams really. The only way to fix it is if you DON'T know who you're going to get which in the way things currently are is pretty uncommon.

If you decide to stop queueing when you get facerolled, you're a win trader...

    BUT

If you decide to stay and keep queueing and get facerolled a bunch... the person on the other end is a win trader because of all the points they racked up destroying poor newbies

    lol!
