With all the new that yoshi and Dev team have in stored for us, only once i have read ishgard, that was when ppl asked about colored chocos: he mentioned that choco had ties with ishgard. But havent read on anything about Ishagard since then. What do guys think, will we see ishgard in 2.0?

Ishgard will be the focus point of 2.0, if my memory is right. So, it's coming out with 2.0 and we'll see plenty of things involving Ishgard.

there are big things planned for ishgard in 2.0. it was hinted that ishgard is finished right now, but won't be put in place till 2.0. because at the moment 50 characters is all that can be shown on the screen at once, and the plans for the content in ishgard will need lot more than 50 ppl. this suggests something very big indeed. as for coloured chocobos, i believe this will come with chocobo breading

As the previous two people have stated, Ishgard seems to be the focus of the large scale pvp free company content we'll be getting. So Ishgard will most likely be ready at 2.0 or soon after, since if not, free companies would barely have content. I'm sure the grand companies being for the three starter nations, means free companies might have some quests tied to ishgard like "we don't have a grand company but we'll allow the free companies to help us with protection of the city"

Also thanks to the OP for starting a thread with discussion value, too many threads of just useless opinion, this thread was refreshing.
