Can we see other past, original Square Enix/SquareSoft/Enix games get referenced too?
Games I would like to see referenced:
-Threads of Fate
-Chrono Trigger and/or Chrono Cross
-The Bouncer
-Xenogears
-Mischief Makers

Kingdom Hearts, please I need the power of hearts to be introduced in this game.

Harkening back to the random Lightning Cameo Event way back when, how about an Aqua event? Would love to be able to acquire her set and some Keyblades.

Enough of these stupid crossovers already! Can't FFXIV stand on it's own two feet for once? (Fanservice is all well and good, but you have to draw the line somewhere). Also correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the Ogre series not even Square originally but published by Atlus? (I knew the Ogre-series development team did later join Square to work on the original FF Tactics though). Please clarify this if I am mistaken though.
Either way, I'm tired of crossover events with things that don't even have anything do to with FFXIV or FF in general. Let FFXIV be it's own game without having to shoehorn cross-marketing of other titles into it.

I don't really want events, just references.
Like a name here, a location there, or a piece of gear as a dungeon drop.
That kind of thing.
The Ogre games were published by Atlus for the Playstation and Game Boy Advance (respectively). Square got the publishing rights for the PSP version of Let Us Cling Together.
I only bring this up because people have pointed out one of the new gearsets that was shown in the 2.4 trailer is an exact replica of a character's armor in that game.

And that the Floor 100 boss is most likely Nybeth and that Fog of Phantom was playing in the trailer.

I need this!!
No one ever said it was Square lol, it was from Enix. Which if you remember, is the company that was one half of the Square and Enix merge.Enough of these stupid crossovers already! Read the OP. I thought you of all people would know that FFXIV is a game that heavily references past titles and more recently with the Tactics Ogre stuff from other Square titles.
