Feeling Underwhelmed with 3.4

The new dungeons, trials and the raid look great to me. Main scenario expansion is always good for me (as long as there aren't too many meaningless fetch quests).

Squadrons are basically dead to me because I don't find retainers interesting. I'll use them if they give me nice stuff. Ignore if that isn't the case.

Diadem could be interesting, or it could be a massive failure. 235 gear doesn't sound promising, lol.

The biggest things aside from the actual content, imo, are the Nocturnal Astrologian+Card changes and the Egi Glamours. If the Egi Glamours aren't in the patch, well, that's one less thing I have to look forward to. =|

I am really looking forward to the main scenario. It definitely looks exciting. To be honest, it doesn't seem like Egi glamours were even mentioned or addressed at all. And ugh Diadem...it has such great potential but the execution is just sad.

I hope to be pleasantly surprised by the Egi Glamours, but nothing has been even hinted about them.

In all fairness garrisons themselves were not all that bad, it was the fact that it was the only "casual" content to do. I mean no one really had any issues with garrisons the first time when the idea seemed like a nice side project :P Imagine if you had either alexander or sending out retainers from your house, and said house as your only 2 content options >.>

oh yeah and the amount of items you can place is like 5 :P

I'm looking forward to the conclusion of Alexander, the new trial, and further development of the main scenario.

The dungeons will be fun for the first couple of runs, if not only because they are new.

Once that's all gone, it'll be back to business as usual for me. The Squadrons are just a different retainer system, the Wondrous Tales are a different challenge log, the Diadem is... well still Diadem. As such, none of it catches my interest or desire to do any of it.

My schedule: Do content, let sub lapse. Same as every other patch. I am quite excited by the new patch, but once I'm done with the content for clear/story, there will be nothing to keep me here. As has been the case the whole time I've been playing.

I'm more excited for the story and the new items/clothing than I am for the battle content, which yes is the same kind of stuff as always.

But this is just a patch after all, and they a preparing to blow us away with a big expansion, which we will start seeing next month with fan fest vegas.

Im interested in the new primal and thats pretty much it... infact if there was no new tome gear to get i would be happier with this patch. I hate new tome patches.

Edit: im kinda interested in more storyline but i havent really gotten into heavenswards story as much as i got into the 2.0 story.

Underwhelming? Sure I mean we only advance 5 questlines(Main, Hildi, Scholasticate, Anima, Warring Triad), get four pieces of pve group content (Xelphatol, Gubal Hard, Sophia, Alex), get more pvp features, triple the current ammount of PoD floors, a new reason to redo old content, and squadrons.

Here's a tip OP. Never play wow. Ever. Blizzard places half this ammount behind time gates, calls it an expansion and asks money for it. Funny thing is, lots of people are satisfied with it. I'm sorry 3.4 is not to your likingl. Truly.
