Nothing in the trailer impresses me beside Sophia and Type-0 hairstyles.

I think it's good, because when i stop subbing to this game cuz the endgame is frickin terrible, i can stay up to date by watching the trailers.

Nope. Just like movie trailers, if I don't want to be spoiled I don't watch them. There's always that option you know.
Do or do not, there is no try.

I've always been somewhere in between. I'm too excited not to watch them but at the same time I hope they don't show too much. For example, in the Heavensward trailer:
...was it really necessary to show Raubahn safe and sound in your company? I naturally figured we'd end up rescuing him but I cared a lot about that character so the lack of certainty had me on edge, albeit excited. That and Y'shtola's voice in the background.
((Someone remind me how to do spoiler tags on here please ; ))

No, they don't. Considering that the biggest MMO on the market has official and unofficial sites that spoil every last little detail well in advance I think FFXIV is in a very good place where revealing information is concerned.

Yes, they do. Hence I haven't seen this patch's nor FFXV's.
He doesn't mind us conducting trials so close to his bazaar, so long as he's properly compensated... Yes, Portus, we pay him in sorcery-blasted bird flesh. - Cocobygo
Hardly. They tease just enough.
Very little/out of context VO dialog
Small/Short song clips
Small snip of mechanics just to show off
Short highlights of new content
Most trailers just slap the whole thing in your face.
Disagree, XIV team does trailers just fine.
Challenge the weak to make them strong.
Then dont' watch the trailers, easy solution. I do not watch them myself, I want to experience the new changes first hand and think they do show too much.
