Here's the thing: all that stuff you're joking about would negatively affect the game for the many non-disabled players, to benefit fewer people.

Using a slightly different colour for something, or not even changing the default but providing an option? Takes maybe two, three hours of programmer time, even considering testing, and affects nobody except the folks who can now play the game without being held back by something which was not meant to be a deliberate challenge.

Why not follow the marker on your minimap?

Is there a marker on the minimap? I usually have it hidden because I can't zoom out enough, and use the regular map as a sort of psuedo-minimap.

If there is, thanks. That'll help a bunch with stupid large maps like the Churning Mists (screw you Moogles!). Thread is still valid though.

They can't see it on the minimap.

That's literally the point being made here.

    The OP can't see red.

They can't see the orange circled areas maked on the maps (mini or otherwise) and have been fudging it by hovering their cursor over the map to find the actual area. They can see the blue and green , so the request is to allow people modify colors for UI details.

Then marker is literally something that hangs at the edge of the minimap. He can see shapes...

When the marker disappears, you're there/you can hover your mouse.
This is not a priority issue.

It's still annoying to have to ignore the primary way of finding something, plus your method lacks one important bit of information: distance to target.

So I'd say it's still valid. Not a priority issue but something they should look at if they have the time for sure.

All I'm asking for is a new option that'll help me a ton, yet won't affect you in the slightest.
And then you have to pull out the sarcastic "entitled-colorblind-people". Kind of a jerk thing to do, no?

I'm glad you people at least realized I was joking. I figured every single response I got would take me too seriously.

I am amused at the latter response that apparently decided to break their silence and make their first post just to respond to me, though. I consider this a huge success.

I have this exact same problem! I complain to my friends about it all the time, if it wasn't for the arrows on the mini map I wouldn't even know where to go for these markers.

Edit - Oh you were "joking", hilarious. -_-

You should read that back & then hang your head in shame.
