As a colorblind player, quest area indicators are impossible to see.

Because I don't, and the only reason I'm ever able to finish quests in this game is because if you mouse over the area it shows the quest name in a tooltip.

Now try finding a quest via this hide-and-seek message in the Churning Mists. Fun, no?

I've been dealing with this for over two years now, and in ARR it wasn't so bad because the map was fairly small, but with Heavensward it's been growing more and more debilitating to the point where I feel I need to bring attention to it.

Please, Square Enix. Give colorblind players an easier way to find quest markers on the map.

I'd love to see them add the option to allow the players to control the colors of things like default enemy AOEs and quest indicators.

While I agree that they should do something about this (it sounds like a minor adjustment, since all they would have to do is to change the color or allow us to change the color by ourselves), remember that you can click "map" for the quest and it will open the map where the quest is (what I'm trying to say is: you can "limit" your search a little even in the big HW-areas...)
