It baffles me that long range attacks in this game are not quite so long range.
You're more likely to aggro a mob than get into range to cast on it or throw something to get it's attention.

If the range were extended, it could make some content *cough*Darkhold*cough* a bit more friendly to people who'd like to, I dunno... FIGHT the mobs on the way, especially if a properly ranged ranged attack would cause less mobs to link.
The massive link/aggro of the mole room decimated the party I went with. (We went in to exp for shiggles.)

In conclusion: Long range is too short, please adjust or at least make it so our targeting cursor can tell us if we're in range.
