New dyes please

I keep trying to dye things to match specific pieces but in stuck as we haven't got a great selection of dyes, for example no bright reds to match the coronal summer halter or a really good Royal purple. Could we please get a greater range ?

I'd also like a dyeable bikini, and to go whole hog I want to choose which bit of a piece of clothing to dye. I don't want to dye one bit of it one colour then it automatically changes the rest of the item to a washed out version of that colour (I'm looking at you, taffeta shawl)

I would love to see more dyes as well.

But more than that, I would love to see different section other an item dyeable.

If the original piece has 4 different colors on it, and then I dye it black, I don't want all of the colors to become black. I would love to be able to dye different parts of one item!

I wish we could get more dyes we can craft. Getting sick of most dyes being gated behind RNG drops in dungeons and quick ventures.

iirc there are also some dyes we don't have access to but certain NPCs use. and some people who datamined the game files were able to see entries for certain dyes that currently are unobtainable ingame

A recent example being Rowena and her Bronzed Moonfire Swimsuit (liable to change in a few weeks )

As mentioned before certain Gear that has unique hues. In addition to the Coronal Summer Halter the OP mentioned, The MNK AF1.5 set for example has a nice Chartreuse/Neon Yellow that I would love to see as a dye. And there are also some colors that seem to be underrepresented at best, notably magenta which dosn't seem to have anything at all apart form Metallic Red.

Do you mean exclusively crafted? because most of the crafted dyes seem to drop form the Leveling dungeons and Fractal/Neverreap

Related, I would like to know why Dyes ceased with the weapons at the 3.1 and beyond dungeons, but the prisms aren't?

Well not exclusive, but an option like the dyes we can make now. I find it laughable that we can only make 2 to 3 or 4 shades per color.

I was trying a while back to dye some pants to match one of the accent colors on a top I liked (the Lord's Suikan), but it was a shade of red that doesn't exist in our dye system, so no pretty coordinating of colors there. If they're going to use colors in a piece's standard look, and particularly in the permanent accent colors of a piece, then that same color should be included in the dye system, so we can coordinate the rest of our outfit with it.

When I unlocked dye recipes on my first DoH class and saw how few there were, I assumed they must be divided between the classes, and figured once I got that far with the others, they'd have the other colors. Nope. Then when I got my next class to that level and found the same selection of dye recipes, I thought, well it must be level divided then, and these are the beginner dyes. I suppose I'll get the rest once I level up a bit more. But wrong again. No more craftable dyes. Those few are all we get. (So lame.)

It's annoying going through the dye try-on window and deciding what colors I want, only to then have a search to find out where/how they're available. Some have to be crafted. Others have to be bought from NPCs. Others can only be gotten with a lucky venture. It's too scattered. Just make them all craftable and most if not all of them purchasable (at enough of a price to make crafting them preferable for those who've leveled DoH anyway). Then we can just decide what colors we want and get them.
