HW code not valid?

I could be wrong here, but if you bought it directly while logged into your account, doesn't it apply directly? I don't remember putting in a code for HW.

i bought it on the S.E online store, they sent me an email with the code to put in on the mog station but as stated it comes up invalid, and ive checked the licenses i have and HW isnt one of them
