    Features of other MMO you would like to see.

    First, I'll start with if it is an idea already acknowledged by SE or in the works there is no need to post it again.

    Anyways, I have been checking out other MMOs, where I love FF14... still lack end game content. I've seen a few features I though would be kind of neat if placed in FF14.

    - Duo Content and Instances.
    Yes, instances for two people and maybe leves too. I know you can do leves with two people, I mean leves designed to be done by two people. As a married man, I general play FF14, and other MMOs, with my wife and Duo content is very appealing to me. You can't always find a full party to run a instance or something, I think most people can find one other person to go run something.

    -Vanity Item slots
    These are gear slot that do not effect your stats, purely for looks. You love how you Black Mage Gear looks and hate to replace it? Place it in your vanity slot so you can keep the look but still upgrade with better gear. Gives you more control over your looks without having to sacrifice stats.

    Mailboxes
    Mounts usable in towns
    Duration timers on enemy buffs, enfeebling effects, etc
    Tooltip display for effects on party members / enemies

    In-game non-combat "training dummies"
    -like how wow had so you can test you skill set or new gear and see damage differences

    A better crafting system

    NPC events that happen occasionally (daily, weekly, monthly events)

    Smoother and cleaner looking UI

    Could you guys go into a little detail about some of these ideas? For example, I have not played Eve and have no idea what the contracts are about. Plus, if you give your insight into why this might work FF14, that would be cool.

    Puppet master was less just me wanting my old job back.

    Eden eternal has their "Classes/Jobs" set up so that your physical level was the cap that your job level could go. Basically like how the old system was instead of letting each job take abilities from everything else they could only take skills that were in a class spell set and their more defined job set. A tank could only use it's specific abilities the class has and the specific job meaning being incapable of pulling a cure out of your ass. A hunter can't use Scourge because it's in a different ranged dps class pool.

    I might be jumping the gun but i'm sure this is not how the new job system is going to work by a long shot since it's only going to restrict you to your specific class skills.

    Edit: Most of what RemVye has mentioned as well. I'm iffy on the training dummies since this is a slower versions of WoWs spam you prolly won't get the same results all the time.
